We had a few nice days but it’s cold again and will be through the weekend. Next week we should have higher temperatures. It probably won’t last though... I’m sure we’ll have another snowstorm or two. Can’t wait to change the clocks ahead! No or shrubs are showing any signs of life around here yet. I must say that my Christmas cactus is in full bloom again and I have an amaryllis from last year that’s starting to grow leaves. I hope it blooms again it was the most beautiful one I’ve ever had! Wishing all of you well. Time for me to get back to finishing up on my tax info for the accountant

Hi, Everyone! The neighbor says the buzzards are back but I haven't seen them yet. I guess I should look to see if I have anything peeking from the ground. Supposed to be in the 60s this week so I expect everything will start to pop up. And I've started spring cleaning. I want to paint the kitchen. It's as close as I'm going to get to a remodel, I think. At least for now.
Hope all is well where you are.

It's supposed to be in the 60's all this week but coming with it the last half of the week. Worked outside this morning and now I'm about ready for a . People are reporting crocuses and daffodils in the area but none are planted here so I won't be able to see any until I go out, tomorrow, hopefully, when I go for PT.
GG, I'm in a spring cleaning mood also. Now if I could just get the energy and ambition to go with it.... Actually I have been doing a little cleaning and organizing. A little is better than nothing, right? A new coat of paint will make your place nicer, I'm sure.
SAR, now that the weather is getting better is Rick any closer to getting the rest of his things out of your house?
Kona I imagine that spring isn't as close there as it is here. Still....we can hope! Hearing and seeing more robins this week. Not hearing the crows lately so they must have moved on.
Enjoy the nice weather!

PL yes robins here and he has been taking trailer loads out of the barn at least 2 a week. but there has been a death in his family so we'll have calling hrs tomorrow and furneral next day I will just go to calling hrs. I am dealing with my driveway again... the twpship came and said HONESTLY! they told me there really is no easy answer for this they could not guarentee the culverts would NOT wash away with the volume that goes across here... so now I have a call into the excavators for their expertise..... if I could do what I want Id build a freaking bridge and be done with it@
it is not too warm yet(52) but tomorrow and wed,. it is to warm up nicely.. I hope you all are doing well for this short burst of spring.... and my crocuses and spring plants are up not in bloom for a few more weeks, though!

Good morning! And it is! The temperature BEFORE 7 a.m.: 62 degrees F. If I'd known that I would have gotten up earlier to sit outside with a cup of and enjoy it! It is cloudy outside, and in the central part of the country they are anticipating violent weather. But for the moment all seems well.
Daughter, youngest grandchild and I went to Akron Zoo yesterday. It was a good walk, an enjoyable time looking at all of the critters.
I had to get a new computer. Bought it last week. Now Office is installed and I am working away contentedly on one of my stories. Feels like a good day to me. I hope yours is, too!

Lots of and thunderstorms here yesterday. It's a little quieter so far today but I think more coming the next three days.
GG, glad you got a new computer so you can keep up with your passion!
SAR, I know how aggravating it is to have so much water and I probably only have a fraction of what you have to deal with! I keep hoping you will find a solution that will really help.
My good friend Tama came by Tuesday for a visit and brought me more frozen beef as well as some fresh eggs (from her daughter's farm) and a gallon tub full of pecans in the shell from her pecan trees. That woman is an ! I gave some of the beef and eggs to a neighbor as my refrigerator is so full! Had PT yesterday and my shoulder and hand numbness are improving. More exercises at home for two weeks and then back for a re-evaluation. I'd like to be done!
Don't know if any of this will make it to CSue, but I imagine SAR and GG will be getting it.
Waving to all who stop by!

what a blessing your friend is with the beed and fresh eggs and nuts!
my crocuses are up and blooming... even though he scaped off my rock garden (where they were) they still came up in my yard!
my pink ladies are coming up every place I transplanted them! and my daffies are getting heads. I think all the tulips have died so I will have to plant dome this fall.
it is breezing and sunny so I washed some "pee blankets" the blankets in cat boxes that sometimes get peed on!
well I better get back to work, I mopped more like SCRUBBED the lower level family room, since he got all his stuff out of it yesterday. I will concentrate on it all week as in spring cleaning then decide what to do with flooring, I have the floor painted now but leaning towards wood grain vinyl,
Im in a cleaning mood and I think it is time to start updating some areas.
have a great Fri. everyone!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
It's been raining all day and possible severe storms towards the evening. Hoping we won't lose power. The states south of us are in for really serious weather so keeping them all in my prayers.
Well, SAR, at least he cared enough to check on you but I do understand you trying to draw the line. Glad you have coming up, SAR. Nothing in this neighborhood, sadly.
I really want to do some spring cleaning but this rainy, cool weather is making me want to hibernate....
You all have a great day!
