So, SAR, did you get your computer up to snuff then? Finally getting used to my new one. Robert came by today and helped me get the graphics card updated.
It's trying to be spring here, in the low 60's a couple of days. I hope we don't get one of those March snows after this!

We never sat down over the week-end.. had company come unexpectedly, so did visit, but when they left i had 4 loads of clothes I washed and hung out and picked and put away, and we cut sapplings around the cat fenvce and worked in the herb garden, or what WAS the herb garden will be trying to get it back in shape.
I trimmed the grape arbors and mopped floors and cleaned feeding cages in the shed and garage, and still slowly getting things ready to convert the garage into 2 area so all the cats will be close but not in the house... whew I'm tired just typing it all up! lol!
have a great week, everyone!

Wow, SAR, I would say that you need to slow down, but knowing you, I doubt that you did that.
Had lunch with Sarah and the kids yesterday and while I was gone, HUD inspectors came and went through my apartment! They never tell you when they are coming. Anyway, they messed with my windows, my laundry, were in my freezer, etc. I was NOT happy about it as they tore the plastic off of one of my windows that badly leaks air, not to mention that I feel violated. UGH.
And here it is 12:15 a.m. and my neighbors is outside, barking and barking and barking.... So fed up with that and the poop everywhere.
We've had a few nice days but chances of most days and tomorrow could be severe storms. Got my shopping done today so I won't have to try to navigate the pond that develops on my sidewalk.
Hope everyone is doing okay. Seems like internet activity keeps getting less and less.

Oh plantlady that’s terrible! Both HUD and your neighbors . It’s nice that you were able to go out for lunch but to come home with that is just not right.... I would call the cops about that since it’s a continuing situation. It’s not like you’re complaining for nothing this is been going on for a long time! I was just outside and the birds are chirping. You can tell spring is around the corner. We hardly had any snow this winter but there is still a lot of cleaning up to do around the yard. It’s so nice since we turned the clocks ahead. At 7 o’clock it’s still not dark! That helps to boost the morale around here for everyone. Sounds like you’ve got a pretty good head start Sue. It’s nice that you have help now! I’m home today for a change doing laundry and cleaning up a bit. I just sat down for a minute and thought I would check in. Glad to see everyone is staying healthy and I’m sure we all have the supplies we need. I haven’t been to the wholesale club or market for a couple of weeks now but have heard stories; especially low TP supplies and rationing water. No way anyone is going to find masks, hand sanitizer or disinfecting wipes. Fortunately I have a good supply of all. Hello to CSue, GG and all others checking in. Hope you enjoy the sunny days and the hint of spring in the air!

PL.. I just hate that you live with the neighbors that you can;t get help about.. and IF the inspectors came when I was not there I would be livid. I thought they HAD to tell you when they were coming.. ugh!
today I am washing clothes between trying to get the chores done.
I broke my toe and the side of my foot is all bruised and I am hobbling around I broke a toe before and the drs will not set little toes.. so I do reiki on it and trust it will heal correctly.
so I am slowed down but still moving.
Kona, yes I would hope most of us are ahead of the game with preps.
I think I posted how to make your own sanitizer if you can;t find any... the big deal is have aloe vera and at least 90% isotopel alcohol (sp)
if in a bad way... Kleenex, napkins, or cut up t shirts or cheap wash clothes with a bucket of bleach water for each member of the faimly to use to clean your bottom.
schools, courts voting areas sports and some resturants and stores all closing for this..... they do not do this for the cold and flu that KILLS so many each yr. but it is what it is.. many are panicked...
prayers for us all......

I think the caution is because this is a NEW virus that nobody has seen before and there are many unknowns about it. The more elderly we are the higher our risk of serious illness and death.
I don't understand why we haven't followed China's protocol to contain it. In just a few days they built "hospitals" for the patients who were positive. People stayed home. I read that the "hospitals" are closing down now.
The hospital in Salem has been swamped. A friend's grandson went there because he was sick. Turns out he has Influenza A. One of her great grandchildren has Influenza B. They waited hours just to be seen, the hospital was that busy.
I hope you all are well and stay that way.

As of 9 p.m. all bars, fast food places in Ohio, etc. will close. No more pool league until further notice. NY borders are closed and held by the National Guard. It's just crazy. Stay well, Sue. I have no idea when I will be able to come and see you and Rick again.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Our primary election was today so I voted and then hit a couple of stores for a few items (neither store had any toilet paper of course!).
Our governor has ordered all bars and restaurants to stop dine in business (drive up or pick up only allowed). Robert got notified yesterday that they will be shutting down the theater for at least 6 weeks so he's not happy. At least he has his income tax refund to help. Schools are all closed for now.
Kona, good to see you pop in. Yes, I think most of us are preppers to some degree so will fare better than many.
Hope everyone is well and finding good ways to pass the "quarantine" time.

Ouch Sar, sorry to hear that you broke your toe. A lot has been going on here. Billy turned 65 last month but plans on returning to work this spring. He had an appointment with his doctor and he increased the dosage of one his medications from 4 mg to 8 mg. He had been on the 8 mg for 3 weeks then had a bad allergic reaction t it. His tongue and gums swelled up really bad. It was so frightening. He was rushed to the hospital and it took 4 hours on an IV to get the swelling to go down. The doctor at the ER said he could take it for a year or two before he'd have an allergic reaction. He told him not to take it anymore and have his doctor replace it with something else. His doctor called him and said he sent a prescription to the drug store and he could pick it up the next day and after that to stay home. He put him under quarantine for his health because of his condition he could easily catch the virus. So he can't go in any stores or anyone's home and he can't have any visitors here at the house. We went to town yesterday and I went in and got his prescription. So weird, not a lot of traffic, workers at the stores wearing gloves and cleaning counters constantly. We stocked up on food at a local store early yesterday morning. No one but us and the workers were there. I wiped down the cart handle with wipes they had there before Billy touched it. I seen where Trump said this could go on until July. So it looks like there will be no work for me at the camps this May and June. Borders are closed to non-essential travel right now. Stay safe everyone!
