Welcome Sherry and Happy New Year everyone!
Weather is still mild here (in the 50's during the day) but may turn a little colder and windier with the next couple of days. I still can't wait for spring!
My neighbor and friend Pam was in a car accident Christmas Eve and spent 2 days in the ICU. Someone hit her as she was turning onto the highway. Nothing broken but she's badly bruised with sprains and strains all over and a hematoma on her stomach. Poor woman. She's 73 I think so it's gonna take awhile to recover! She says she doesn't want to drive anymore and I can't blame her. I am still paranoid about driving after my bad wreck in 2015 so I know how she feels. Please keep her in your prayers.

PL prayers for your neighbor Pam... yes at 73 it does take longer to heal....
I do not like driving and thankful that Rick LOVES to drive. so he is my chauffeur
we had a feral come down with the virus in the barn and had my neighbors husband help it cross the bridge. now we wait to see if all the young ferals will be gone in a few weeks. once they get that , they die a horrible death in 24 hrs. it is so sad to see....
GG is coming up tomorrow, so praying for a clear day and nice weather.
again I am just now sitting down so I have a lot to catch up on...
hugs to all...

Welcome Sherry! PL, I read your FB post about your neighbor, I hope she recovers quickly. It's been a sad new year so far. My ex-brother-in-law passed away from cancer last Wednesday, Jan. 1. He was such a big part of our family for so many years. He was like a brother, and he was one of Gabby's best friends. I saw him a couple weeks ago. He was so happy to see me. He hugged and kissed me. He said they sent him home to die and he said he doesn't really care, it doesn't bother him. He fought a hard battle for the last couple years but the pain was so bad that he was ready to go. He was happy man, comical and liked to tease and torment. He used to sing with Gabby's band now and then. A great singer. He could sound just like anyone, the young people loved it when he sang AC/DC, the older people loved it when he sang the country songs. He could sound just like Waylon Jennings and others. He was loved by everyone in the community. It's like the end of another era. I feel bad for my 4 nephews, his sons. Jamie, Farrah and I know how difficult it is to lose a dearly loved family member. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!

CSue, so sad about your ex brother in law. So glad you got to see him before he left this realm.
I went to see my neighbor Pam yesterday and see her bruises and the hematoma on her lower abdomen. Oh my, it's big and hard! She will be going back to the doctor today. I brought her a bag of epsom salts since she is supposed to soak in the tub a couple of times a day if she can.
Still have swelling and pain under my cheekbone and my tinnitus got louder so wondering if I have an infection in there or a TMJ issue. Started taking colloidal silver to see if that helps. Chiro appointment Wed. but not sure if he can help or not. If all else fails...back to the doctor.
SAR, I guess it's about time for snow up there. We have more coming but not cold enough to snow here.
Praying for for Australia!

Hope you are feeling better today, SAR.
I ended up back seeing the dentist Tuesday so he could maybe determine my problem. He said he believed that the symptoms indicated that there is still infection in there so prescribed another round of Augmentin. It seems a little better today but still sore. I sure hope this ends the problem.
Heavy and winds moving in starting tonight and going through the weekend. Went shopping yesterday so I hopefully won't have to try to wade through the pond that will accumulate on my sidewalk to get to my car the next couple of days.
to all who stop by!

Sar and PL, hope you both are better soon. We got a messy weekend coming up, warming up with some , then freezing , ice pellets and snow. I just hope it's not going to be slippery.

CSue, I seem to be getting a little better. Thanks. ;)
I'm sorry to say that the heavy we are getting is heading up to northern Ohio and maybe up to you, CSue? We even had a little thunder and lightning last night. Stay safe!
