the roof guy came and basically told Rick what to do and it turns out he went to school with Rick so they had a nice catch up. he also talked to Rick about the driveway so hoping to get more done around here this spring.
3 days in the 60's and 70's then the bottom will fall out and low of 10 or below next week. brrrr.
hope all is well and I think things will start about the impeachment soon.

Crummy weather coming tomorrow, cold , winds, maybe changing to ice and finally colder weather over the next several days. It has been so mild for so long the daffodils were trying to come up!
Hannah turned 16 today and got her driver's license! We had a dinner with her and Sarah's family at Buffalo Wild Wings tonight. Randy had to work but Robert took me. A very enjoyable evening visiting with everyone and our Birthday Girl.
Hope you all stay safe and warm as it looks like winter is gearing up for some serious business.

wow...Sweet 16 already... I remember her pictures as a little one.. I am so glad you are part of their life.
I am so far behind in keeping up with the board. Rick moved the rest of his things in and I am forever re arranging, moving, packing or pitching just to have room to walk through the house. one day I plan to have a lovely home again... I love my home just not the 6 plus yrs of dis array and changes and incoming and outgoing...but I tell myself.. this too shall pass.
he is so good about fixing things and keeping up with owning a home and tackling all that was just let go while Dan was sick....so I am trying to not blow when I am overwhelmed with "stuff" everywhere.
I do check in here daily but sometimes it late at night and I just read if I am too tired to think or reply.. or if my swollen joints hurt too much to type.
hugs to all!

We understand, Sar. Maybe just put your posting on here on hold until you get things settled. I don't get here much anymore either. It sure is different when there has been big changes in your life. Billy and the keep me busy. lol I did a little early spring cleaning in the bedroom today. Hadn't planned to, just one cleaning job led to another and another and so on. I'll have to not let that happen again until spring. lol We've had cold weather, then yesterday and today was a lot warmer, and now we are getting and freezing again for Sunday. I'd much rather have just snow. I don't like it when the drive way gets so icy. They are clear cutting all in behind us and 4 other homes up here on the hill. It looks so different in not a nice way. We still have some trees behind us on our lot and the apple trees to the left that separate our lot from my nephews, but no forest to the right of us anymore. I can sure notice the winds more now. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

CSue, how disappointing that they would clear cut that area. :(
SAR I know you want to get everything done but maybe you need to get more rest and "me" time?
Was offline with computer problems for almost a week. Still having problems off and on so Randy is looking into building me a new one in the near future.
Weather here is sort of normal for January....in the 30/40's, some and occasional snowflakes but so far no severely cold weather.
Three of my neighbors have been injured! Pam is still recovering from the car accident Dec. 24, Lisa fell and tore the ligament under her left foot and will be having surgery Feb. 7, and Sharon next door to me got dizzy from her meds and fell in the bedroom, breaking her right leg and her left ankle and foot earlier this week. She broke her knee in a fall after she moved in here in late 2018. Poor woman! They did surgery on her ankle and she has pins and a metal rod in it now and is still in the hospital. Went to see her day before yesterday.
Finally getting better after two rounds of antibiotics, having the root canaled molar removed and then another round of antibiotics. Now doing colloidal silver and supplements hoping to keep the infection from reappearing.
Hope you are all well!

SAR, I use this site for my bookmarks so I always have them when I have to switch computers. You can edit, make categories, make the fonts different colors, etc. I've been really happy with it for quite some time now and use it as my start up page. Makes it easier to go to your sites! Thought you might want to take a look at it.

Hope you get your computer up to snuff soon!

so much for trying to slow down and rest in Jan. I've had a talk with RIck, I am NOT liking this always running here and there.. I need to slow down. he is used to being on his own and going and ding things.. but we are working on the differences. :) he is early to bed (6 to 7 PM and up at 5 or 6.. I am up at 1 am and sleep till 9 or so.. it is a learning curve for sure... but we are getting lots of things done... just not the things I WANT DONE. lol.
anyway just checking in and my new desk top is almost done and I love it! just have no time to work on it! (tweaking little things)
hope everyone is ok and doing great. I have lovely Valentine back grounds but not sure I have the time to change but I will try!

UGHHHHHH! I have to say ... I have been watching Outlander on Netflix. Just found that Netflix has only the first three seasons. OH, NO!!! Now what am I going to do???
Hope you all are well. I've been scarce here, I know. My Outlander fix is what I do at the end of the day when I'm too tired to do anything else!
