2019 Predictions from Coast Listeners: In the latter half of our live New Year's Eve show, George Noory read listener predictions made for the last year (2018) and recording predictions for the new year. Here are highlights of the predictions made for 2019:
Nathan from Ohio believes that instances of high strangeness such as UFO sightings, ghostly activities, and alien abductions will be on the rise. Barry in South Carolina said that on this date one year from now, Donald Trump will no longer be President. Sharing his vision that he believes applies to 2019, Alex from Rochester, NH, saw three aboriginal men who declared "nation states are ending." Prophetic Insights for 2019 & Beyond:
In the first half of our New Year's Eve show, John Hogue, returned to update his prophecy alarm, sharing what he sees coming in 2019 and beyond. President Trump's recently announced plan to withdraw from Syria could be sabotaged by the "Deep State" or military-industrial complex, Hogue remarked. A new recession is coming-- what he calls the "decline and fall of the fiat Monopoly funny money system," and this will be followed by an even greater recession at the end of 2019 going into 2020-2021. In 2021, he said we'll see a collapse of the fiat economy as we know it, and this will be presaged by the US dollar being used less and less as the world reserve currency. Get the full scoop on Hogue's insights here.
Today in Strangeness:
We have entered the month sacred to Janus, the two-faced Roman divinity who symbolizes endings and beginnings. Predictions & Insights for 2019:
A New Year's night tradition on Coast to Coast AM, George Noory checked in with psychics, seers, and astrologers about their visions for what's in store for the year ahead. In separate hours, we heard from four different guests. Psychic Joseph Jacobs kicked off the program remarking that the United States is going through a particularly stressful period between January 29th and March 22nd. "I also see the stock market going through a really difficult time right through January 2020," he said, with more downswings than up ones. Astrologer Linda Schurman featured in the second hour, also predicted economic upheaval in the new year and going into 2020. From mid-February through mid-April, with Mercury transiting Pisces, she sees the most extreme fluctuations on Wall Street. Climate change and environmental calamities will continue to be major issues in 2019, she suggested, pointing toward Japan and California as possible earthquake sites in early February. More 2019 Predictions: Our third guest, astrology consultant William Stickevers said that 2019 could be the year for new UFO/ET disclosures, and these announcements will be approved by President Trump. With the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, he believes that economic stress will intensify through now and 2021. Looking at Trump's astrology chart, Stickevers sees the President in a position of strength and that rather than collusion charges being made against him, instead they'll be filed against the Obama administration, the Clinton Foundation, the Dept. of Justice and the FBI. Mystic and psychic Elizabeth Joyce rounded out our special, warning of intense rains flooding cities such as St. Louis, and coastal locations including New Orleans. A crippling winter storm will blanket much of the United States, she added. Joyce also foresees an enormous quake, 9 or 10 on the Richter scale, affecting a wide swath including Alaska, Canada, Oregon, and Northern California (possibly caused by underwater bombing by North Korea). President Trump will resign as early as March due to an announced illness, she predicted, with Pence taking over for the remainder of his term. See the full recap of predictions here. Pakistani photographer and YouTuber Rana Zuhair was trying to record a segment for a prank video channel he created along with two friends, but similar to other questionable grabs for internet attention, the episode ended in tragedy. Although (understandably) the video is not posted, Zuhair apparently dressed in a white sheet and approached a family in the Pakistani capital of Lahore. When he got too close, one of the family members took out a gun and killed Zuhair instantly. More details here. Thanks for the Memories, 2018: NotHauntedHouse

January 3, 2019 Coast Insider Audio Odd UFO Filmed in South Carolina: A woman in South Carolina was left scratching her head after she spotted and subsequently filmed a mystifying orb lingering in the night sky. Debra Thompson's remarkable sighting reportedly occurred on Christmas Eve when she went outside of her house on Kiawah Island to shut off some holiday decorations and noticed "this beautiful red sphere" overhead. Amazed by what she was witnessing, Thompson pulled out her cell phone and captured a surprisingly-long five-and-a-half minute video of the oddity. Check out the intriguing footage here. KiawahIslandUFO Alternative Health Remedies: In the first half of Wednesday's show, Dr. Joel Wallach addressed alternative health approaches and the benefits of remedies and supplements that aid in the body's recovery from many diseases and ailments. China Lands Craft on 'Dark Side' of Moon:
China's space agency accomplished a historic feat last evening when they became the first nation to land a craft on the far side of the moon. The mysterious lunar realm, colloquially mislabeled as the 'dark side' of the moon, had heretofore only been observed by orbiting astronauts and photographed by satellites. Beyond that, the area has never explored on the ground by any space agency due to its rocky terrain and difficulties surrounding communicating with a craft located on the hemisphere which almost permanently faces away from the Earth. That is, until now. Find out more about this remarkable achievement here.

Trends for 2019:
In the first half of Thursday's show, Founder and Director of the Trends Research Institute, Gerald Celente, talked about emerging trends for 2019, and what he sees on the horizon for the US. Though the stock market may temporarily boost back up, this year will see a global slowdown, a veritable "Economic 9/11," he declared. Banking and finance stocks have already been hard hit, such as Deutsche, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs losing significant value, and home sales and prices are also down in many markets. He foresees migration continuing to be a significant issue, with millions of desperate people fleeing their homelands looking for a better future. Get the full scoop here.

Weekend Edition January 7, 2019 Coast Insider Audio How to Deal with Psychic Vampires: In the latter half of Sunday's show, psychic counselor and Reiki master Lisa Campion spoke about the various types of vampires who are focused on draining the psychic and spiritual energy out of others. Sensitive people and empaths seem to naturally attract energy vampires, she has found, and this led her to help her clients learn to establish better boundaries and recognize the signs of such interactions. The least common type of energy vampire is the narcissist/predator who is aware of their own activities, and has no desire to change or any feelings of remorse, she noted. These individuals are dangerous, she cautioned, and can completely exhaust or drain their victims. Get the full scoop here. VirginMaryArgentinaNL Religious Belief Systems: In the first half of Sunday's show, former professor of philosophy and associate chaplain at a church in Michigan, Jeff Grupp shared his journey from being an atheist to a diligently practicing Zen Buddhist to becoming a Christian preacher, ministering to prison inmates. "From what I'm discovering," he said, "since we are minds that exist now, we can work backwards and deduce...that there must be an infinite mind composed of love and goodness." Further, we can do spiritual exercises to have direct awareness of this from within our own consciousness, he cited, which he first became aware of in his Buddhist meditations. January 8, 2019 Coast Insider Audio Tasmanian Tiger Photographed?: An Australian man suspects that he may have encountered and photographed the infamous Tasmanian Tiger. Known scientifically as a thylacine, the canine-like creature was declared extinct decades ago, but, like a ghost, has lingered in the minds of many Australians who believe that the animal may not have actually died out and could still exist to this day. Although such a hypothesis has largely been dismissed by scientists, photos and videos of potential Tasmanian Tiger sightings have kept the theory alive for all these years. Thylacine2019 Cybercrime & Security: In the first half of Monday's show, one of the top keynote speakers on cybersecurity, Kevin Mitnick, discussed the latest in technology and how to protect assets and identity in the sophisticated and evolving world of cybercrime. Regarding the recent announcement that Marriott International's Starwood reservation system had been hacked, it appears that "bad actors" or criminals were interested in the database, he suggested, or possibly a nation state was behind it in order to track the whereabouts of given individuals. Evidence for Survival After Death: In the latter half of Monday's show, MIT and Princeton trained physicist Dr. Claude Swanson discussed the science of the paranormal, and evidence for the continuation of existence after death. When people die, something leaves the body-- "an energy form is often seen by nurses, [and] it's been measured and photographed by scientists," he noted, adding that it's the same ball of energy that leaves a person during out-of-body experiences. Experiments indicate that this ball is a type of "torsion" energy, he reported. One of the ways people often communicate from the Other Side is through electronic voice phenomena (EVP)-- they may appear as orbs and release high-pitched sounds, he stated. Learn more. CHIME Solar Flares & Bolstering the Grid: In the first half of Wednesday's show, historian and author William R. Forstchen, Ph.D., updated the ongoing campaign to bolster energy and communications infrastructure against EMP attack, asteroid strikes, solar storms, and other disasters. What could be even more catastrophic than a strong solar flare or coronal mass ejection (CME) is what he referred to as a coronal proton ejection (CPE). This type of storm on the sun flays out a deadly dose of radiation, he explained, but normally the Earth's magnetosphere protects us from this. However, in the case where Earth is first hit with a CME, the magnetosphere is peeled back, and the planet would be vulnerable to a CPE extinction level event. There has been speculation that such a sequence happened around 14,000 years ago, and this triggered the die-off of mammoths, mastodons, and other creatures in the Northern Hemisphere. January 11, 2019 Coast Insider Audio Harry Reid Lobbies for UFOs: Retired Nevada Senator Harry Reid says that he hopes to persuade members of Congress to take a fresh look at the UFO phenomenon. The intriguing revelation reportedly came about when the former Senate majority leader who spearheaded the Pentagon's UFO research project did an interview with a Nevada radio station on Thursday. "We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing," he marveled, "something in the sky, it moves a certain way." Find out more of what Reid had to say about the phenomenon here. HarryReid Astrology Forecast for 2019: In the first half of Thursday's show, astrologer Mark Lerner discussed the upcoming planetary alignments that affect relationships, the election cycle, real estate, and the stock market. Among his observations, is that the lunar eclipse on January 21st has a foreboding significance falling at the beginning of the Aquarius sign and because President Trump was born on the day of a full lunar eclipse and is contemplating a "National Emergency." Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, he foresees, will play a crucial role in a possible constitutional crisis arising later this year. Trump, he added, is at the end of a 30-year astrological cycle, which may be why he is feeling a lot of gloom, worry, and stress. Get the full recap here. Are You a Coast Insider? The Spiritual Meaning of the 1960s: In the latter half of Thursday's show, Tobias Churton, a world authority on Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Freemasonry, and Rosicrucianism, made his C2C debut. He addressed the spiritual meaning that fueled the artistic, political, and social revolutions of the 1960s as well as how the occult doctrines of Aleister Crowley helped shape the era. Churton, who was born in 1960, found that while growing up, the decade was a cauldron of positive energy which unfortunately began to dissipate by the 1970s. The Beatles were a tremendous catalyst for change for the new generation, he said, and President Kennedy's 1961 declaration to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade thrust a new reality on the world. You can still join us on this deeply enlightening course: www.spiritualdynamics.net/expert/Article: The Consciousness Revolution Massive social, economic and technological changes swept Britain in the eighteenth century. At the time, people were aware of the massive changes but unsure as to how to define it. Later, that era became known simply as the Industrial Revolution. Today, we are passing through an information revolution, thanks to computers and communications. We are also passing through a much larger phenomenon - a consciousness revolution. This Shift is an upgrade in global consciousness which affects all aspects of life. A leading social scientist, the late Clare W. Graves, identified the historical phases of civilization and social progress to the point where he came to the realization that, today, mankind is preparing for a momentous leap. This leap would be a mega-change in society which would dwarf all previous shifts, including the Industrial Revolution. Clare W. Graves was a professor of psychology at Union College, New York. In the chaotic years after World War II, he wanted to determine exactly what lies beneath human nature. Rather than comparing the conflicting theories of the day, he decided to dump them all, right in the trash can! Then he decided to figure out for himself what was happening. Graves, unfortunately, passed away in 1986, just before releasing the book which would have expanded greatly upon his life's work. Two of his students, Don Beck and Christopher Cowan, stepped in to fill the void caused by his departure. They assembled and published the essence of his research in their book, Spiral Dynamics. In it, Beck and Cowan have taken Graves' theory even further, enhancing his findings by drawing from the science of Memetics, which is the study of memes. Memes are the social equivalent of genes, cultural units of information which self-replicate from mind to mind on a vast scale, appearing within society as new trends of thought. So far, eight different memes have been identified in the evolution of society throughout recorded history. Also, an emerging ninth meme has been identified, but not yet fully analyzed due to its scarceness. The different memes, which reflect the evolution of society from its primitive beginnings up to the present, are defined by the following keywords: 1. Basic survival. The most primitive motivation of just staying alive. 2. Clans. Tribal and family bonding along with superstition-filled attempts to understand the powers of nature which threaten to overpower them. 3. Survival of the fittest. Mastering the environment, fighting to break constraints. Sensing many gods, all of which are models of power. 4. Finding purpose in life. Obeying authority and rules of morality, sacrificing the self to a greater cause for a deferred reward. Dedicating allegiance to one supreme God. 5. Striving to succeed. Fighting to win, beating the competition, achieving independence. 6. Community and caring. Unconditional love, accepting others as they are, seeing the value of service to others, the beginnings of spiritual understanding. 7. Flexible flow. Big-picture views, the discovery of self-accountable personal freedom. 8. Global view. Spiritual awareness, learning through simply being as well as doing, becoming conscious of the superconscious, trusting intuition. 9. The emerging mystery meme. What will it represent? One thing is for sure, at the present rate of change of The Shift, it won't be long before this question is answered.

Shelley Neese, Vice President of the Jerusalem Connection International, joined guest host Richard Syrett to discuss how a French archaeologist discovered two brittle copper rolls on a shelf in one of the Dead Sea caves, sparking the greatest treasure hunt in Judeo-Christian history while threatening the geopolitical status quo across the entire Middle East. This scroll was the only one of the famous scrolls to be made of copper, and proved to be nearly impossible to read at first, until a British man named John Allegro had it cut into 23 sections and began to translate the ancient Hebrew text. Longevity Research / The Cygnus Key: According to Bill Faloon, founder of the Church of Perpetual Life, if you're under 40 years of age, you have a decent chance of staying young and healthy to 100 and beyond. He joined guest host Richard Syrett on Saturday to discuss the latest research into slowing and, possibly, reversing biological aging. "We're on the verge of a biomedical Renaissance, where older people are going to be made somewhat younger or very younger depending on how fast we can accelerate our research," he explained, noting scientists have suggested there is no upper limit to human lifespan. During the second half of the program, writer and historian Andrew Collins described how an ancient race called the Denisovans gifted modern humans with civilization, including ideas which linked them to knowledge of the constellation Cygnus seen referenced in the ruins of Göbekli Tepe in southeast Turkey and at the pyramids of Giza in Egypt. "[Civilization] could have been handed to us by... archaic humans (Denisovans) that existed and thrived on this Earth before our modern ancestors," Collins suggested. More info here. January 15, 2019 Coast Insider Audio Flat Earth Cruise Announced: A cruise dedicated to the controversial Flat Earth conspiracy theory has been announced for 2020 and the ambitious event is already drawing snickers from skeptics because of its nautical venue. CruiseShip Bigfoot & Disappearances: In the first half of Monday's show, investigator David Paulides discussed newspaper articles dating back to 1680 describing bipeds looking like Bigfoot and giant skeletons located in mounds and graves, as well as drew associations between land-based disappearances and those of various aircraft that have never been found. One report printed in an Ohio newspaper from November 1893 described a giant 7-ft. skeleton that fell out of a gravel embankment in Marion County; another report from 1897 in the Abilene Weekly, detailed the opening of a mound in Wisconsin in which a 9-ft. skeleton was found along with copper relics of a "prehistoric race." Many of the articles seemed to insinuate that the bones belonged to Native Americans, he noted, and when it comes to "wild men" and Sasquatch, it's likely we're dealing with an intelligent species-- otherwise, they would have been captured. GhostSon Wrongly Convicted: In the first half of Tuesday's show, journalist and author Edward Humes discussed his work looking at how the science of forensics has been used to wrongly convict people of crimes particularly in the case of Jo Ann Parks, who was found guilty of arson in order to kill her three children. In the 1989 home fire, she was the only one to escape. Imprisoned since her conviction, the jury was swayed by forensic evidence indicating she'd sabotaged wiring, though she maintained her innocence, and no motive was ever established. Humes pointed out that the science behind such fire analysis has evolved a great deal over the last 25 years. For instance, it was discovered that wildfires that burn down houses often leave evidence that was formerly thought to be indicators of arson. Read the full recap here. Are You a Coast Insider?
