Holistic Treatments for Autoimmune Disease:
In the first half of Tuesday's show, holistic health care professional, Dr. R.E. Tent addressed the history of the relationship between cancer and the polio vaccine, and why he believes the epidemic of autoimmune diseases plaguing humans is the result of overexposure to various viruses. Tent recalled that his mother "fired the doctor" who treated him as a child, and proceeded to heal Trent from a debilitating disease by herself. His research indicates that polio vaccines introduced in the 1950s were dangerous because they had adulterants, DNA and other diseases from the animals that were used to grow them, and in some cases, actually contained active polio viruses. He also believes that the vaccines precipitated "a cancer explosion" in the generation who were exposed to them. More here.

Mysterious Ice Circles in the Arctic Discovered:
As part of NASA's IceBridge mission, an airborne survey revealed a group of mysterious ice holes in the Arctic ocean, some 50 miles northwest of Canada's Mackenzie River Delta. Mission scientist John Sonntag said the holes were something he'd never seen before. One theory is that the holes might have a mammalian origin, gnawed out by seals as a place to breathe after surfacing up from the icy waters. More info here.
Today In Strangeness:
On this date in 1990, the crew of space shuttle Discovery placed the Hubble Space Telescope into a Low Earth Orbit. Initially, Hubble's operators suffered a setback when a lens aberration was discovered, but a repair mission by space-walking astronauts in December 1993 successfully fixed the problem, and Hubble began sending back its first breathtaking images of the universe.

April 27, 2018 Coast Insider Audio 5 Eerie Humanoid Entities Caught on Film:
In the world of high strangeness, few phenomena are as unnerving as humanoid entities: beings that almost resemble us, yet are clearly not human. YouTube channel Dark5 has compiled a creepy collection of these 'figures,' for lack of a better term, which left their mark in the minds and, no doubt, nightmares of witnesses. Featured in the collection alongside the legendary Mothman and the flying humanoid phenomenon is truly bizarre photograph purportedly taken at a gas plant in Texas back in 2012. Learn more.

Sound Weapons, Plastic Disaster, & Black Holes:
On Thursday's show, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed a recent report confirming serious neurological problems in US and Canadian diplomats assigned to the Cuban embassy in Havana and their possible cause. Linda interviewed Douglas H. Smith, M. D., who said that whatever was causing the disturbances in the Embassy may have "selectively injured" the brain's delicate network of nerve fibers and also resembled something like blunt-force trauma to the heads of victims. Next, Linda interviewed Boyan Slat, Founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup, which is a company that is attempting to clean an area of floating plastic trash three times the size of Texas. In the third hour, Linda talked to astrophysicist Michael D. Johnson about the first attempt to image the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. This will be done with a device that consists of a group of instruments called the Event Horizon telescope. See the full recap here.

UFO Fiction and Non-Fiction:
Thursday's first hour guest, researcher, author, and casting director Craig Campobasso talked about his UFO research, writing, and film work. He announced the fourth book in his "Autobiography of an Extraterrestrial" series is about to be released, and that his award-winning short film "Stranger in the Pentagon" (based on the accounts of 1950s UFO contactee Frank Stranges) is in the planning stages of being turned into a feature film. See more here . Today In Strangeness:

April 28, 2018 Coast Insider Audio The Bizarre Battle Between 'Captain Midnight' and HBO:
If you've ever been aghast by your cable bill, you may be able to empathize with a Florida man who managed to hijack the satellite signal of HBO in a 1986 incident that remains infamous to this day. The audacious stunt was orchestrated in response to the cable channel's announcement that home satellite dish owners would have to start paying for access to station. Outraged by this news, a satellite uplink operator in the city of Ocala decided to demonstrate his displeasure with the premium channel in a manner which most certainly got their attention. Multi-Dimensional Contact:
Bestselling author, internationally known lecturer, minister, counselor, multiple near-death experiencer and UFO contactee, James Gilliland, joined Jimmy Church (email ) in the first half on Friday to discuss his ECETI Ranch (Enlightened Contact with ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) where he documents and shares amazing multi-dimensional contact phenomena. Gilliland recalled that he originally found the ranch property after he experienced a series of visions of the place while teaching healing classes in California. Eventually, "through a sequence of synchronistic events" Gilliland says he ended up at what was to become the ECETI Ranch. The ranch has long been an apparent nexus of paranormal and UFO events. Gillliland claims that "two ley lines" cross the property and that this contributes to the extreme number of anomalous lights sighted on the land. He says that he has also seen Bigfoot-type entities on at least four occasions, and giant footprints are seen regularly. See the full recap here. Open Lines:
During Friday night 's Open Lines, Ian called in from New York to relate his out-of-body experience with an apparent alien being. He claimed that he was on some sort of spaceship on the moon and saw a "little man" in a silvery spacesuit with a silver helmet. He said when the alien being locked eyes with him, he was immediately transported back into his body. Spike in Texas said that when he was young, he was "roughhousing" with other boys and a small metallic ball fell somehow fell out of his head. At the time, he didn't know what it was, but now thinks it may have been some sort of alien implant. See the rest here .
Today In Strangeness:
On this date in 1947, Thor Heyerdahl and five crew members left Peru on a balsa-wood raft in order to prove Peruvian natives could have settled Polynesia. And on this day in 2001, millionaire Dennis Tito became the world's first space tourist.

The Great Work/ Alien Messages:
Justin Deschamps has been studying physics, psychology, law, philosophy, and spirituality, and working to weave these seemingly separate bodies of information into a holistic tapestry. In the first half of the show tonight with Jimmy Church (email ), Justin will share the goal of his work - to help himself and others become better truth-seekers, and in doing so, form a community of holistically minded individuals capable of creating world healing projects for the benefit of all life-what has been called The Great Work. Second half: Certified hypnotherapist, abduction researcher and Director of CERO (Close Encounter Resource Organization) Yvonne Smith will discuss stories from the last 5 years of her work as a hypnotherapist specializing in alien abduction. Weekend Edition April 30, 2018 Coast Insider Audio Falling Knocks Woman Unconscious: April 15 is not only the traditional tax day for us in the U.S., it apparently also visits bad luck on people in other countries. On that day, a woman in the southeastern Chinese village of Yagang was knocked unconscious by a falling as she walked into a drug store. In a surveillance camera video from the China Global Television Network, the 45 pound canine can be seen knocking the woman to the ground. There is no word yet on whether the is a stray, or belongs to someone in the building where it made its daring plunge. More here. Falling- Cuban Crime Lords: By the mid-1980s, one of the most powerful illicit organizations was the Cuban mob, whose power stemmed from a criminal culture embedded in south Florida's exile community. In the first half of Sunday's show, journalist T. J. English joined guest host Richard Syrett to discuss an epic story of gangsters, drugs, violence, sex, and murder rooted in the streets. English spoke extensively on the dark career of Cuban American exile José Miguel Battle and his role in fighting with CIA-trained Cuban exiles during the ill-fated Bay Of Pigs invasion in 1961. Battle remained in the US after the fiasco and began to build a criminal empire based on the illegal numbers racket (lottery) along the entire Eastern seaboard. See the full recap here. JFK Files Release: James DiEugenio is one of the most respected researchers and writers on the political assassinations of the 1960s. He was included in the DVD extras for Oliver Stone's 1991 film JFK, and Stone wrote an introduction for one of DiEugenio's books. In the second half on Sunday, DiEugenio sharply criticized assassination skeptic Vincent Bugliosi and his book Reclaiming History, which concludes that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Bugliosi is most famous for his prosecution of Charles Manson and his book about the case, Helter Skelter. DiEugenio believes that both of these books are deeply flawed, and that the real reason for the Manson trial was a coverup of "the association between the music industry and the black market for drugs in L.A. in the 1960s." See the rest here. Thylacine-BW Ted Turner's Bounty on the Tasmanian Tiger: One of the weirder footnotes in the storied legend of the Tasmanian Tiger involves media mogul Ted Turner and a rather sizeable reward that he once offered to anyone who could prove the creature still existed. The odd bounty came about back in December of 1983, when the CNN founder was in the Tasmanian capital of Hobart for a yacht race. According to a newspaper article from the time, a visit to one of the city's museums led to Turner learning about the declared-extinct creature presumably by way of an exhibit detailing how the last living thylacine in captivity had died at the Hobart Zoo. See more here. The Great Work/ Alien Messages: In the first half on Saturday's show with Jimmy Church (email), Justin Deschamps shared ways to help himself and others become better truth-seekers, and in doing so, form a community of holistically minded individuals capable of creating world healing projects for the benefit of all life-what has been called The Great Work. In the second half, abduction researcher Yvonne Smith discussed stories from her work as a hypnotherapist specializing in alien abduction. Since 2011, Smith says that many of her clients have been separately telling her that they are receiving messages from their abductors that "something is coming" and they don't know what to do about it. Some also see themselves in dreams leading large groups of people. They are told "'you have a job to do,' and when the time comes they will know what to do." See more here. On this day in 1006 AD, a new star, possibly the brightest supernova in recorded human history, appeared in the sky. Occult-Symbols-Illustration Health News/ Thelemic Magic: Dr. Joel Wallach has observed natural practices in the agricultural industry that eliminated 900 diseases in animals (that still plague humans) and doubled animal lifespans. In the first half of tonight's show, he will discuss the human body's innate ability to heal itself through natural means, without the use of dangerous and expensive pharmaceuticals. Colin Campbell has been studying and teaching elements of magical practice for over twenty-five years with a particular emphasis on Thelema, giving lectures at both the local and national level. In part two, he will discuss his life-long interest in magic and the history of magic including step-by-step instructions for practicing the basic rites and rituals of the often-misunderstood tradition of Thelema.

An exhaustive new search for infamous lost airliner MH370 has produced the same results as previous pursuits and left the mystery maddeningly intact. Launched in January with high expectations, the ambitious endeavor dubbed Ocean Infinity utilized eight unnamed submarines to scan the Indian Ocean floor. In the first half of Tuesday's show, he discussed his work documenting the incredible impact Senator Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) has had on history, and how his work and ideals have resonated in the nearly 50 years since his death in June of 1968. His forward thinking on such difficult issues as race, and poverty, as well as creating economic opportunities still offer relevance for us in 2018, Allen remarked. He also recounted the momentous occasion when RFK gave a largely improvised campaign speech in Indianapolis on April 4, 1968 just several hours after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Is the Zodiac Killer Next to be Nabbed by DNA?
Following last week's stunning arrest of a suspect in the Golden State Killer cold case, true crime fans have wondered if the same DNA investigation techniques could also lead to the Zodiac Killer. The infamous miscreant who haunted northern California in the late 1960's has been likened to an American Jack the Ripper due to his penchant for writing taunting letters to police challenging them to catch him. His haunting missives, gruesome murders, and eye-catching self-given named 'Zodiac' have made this mysterious individual something a white whale for both law enforcement and armchair researchers for decades. But recent events have inspired renewed hope for Zodiac hunters. Learn more. Today in Strangeness:

The site also is also said to be the home of several spirits believed to be former residents of the property who died under tragic and gruesome circumstances. February 28, 2018 Coast Insider Audio Ripper Postcard Sold at Auction:
A postcard believed to have been penned by the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper was sold for a rather sizeable sum at an auction in England. The macabre piece of true crime memorabilia was received by authorities in London in October of 1888 and arrived mere days before the Ripper claimed his final victim. Along with teasing that his "knife is still in good order" and warning that he had his eye on a pair of women that he planned to target, the mysterious murderer even signed the postcard with his now-infamous moniker of 'Jack the Ripper.' Learn how much the postcard sold for here.
Threats to the Tech Industry:
For over two decades, Hilarie Gamm has worked in the frontlines of America's high-tech field. In Wednesday's first half, she discussed various threats to the tech industry that are playing havoc with the US economy. The hysteria around the Y2K crisis in the 1990s opened the door to hiring foreign technology labor, she reported. Since then, companies have persistently outsourced jobs overseas which has really dinged the American middle class. She recommended that when American companies report their taxes, they be required to declare the number of foreign workers they employ. This way, she said, we can actually get a handle on how many US citizens have lost the opportunity to work in the tech field in their own country. Get the full recap here.

There's so much ancient history there, and things that we don't understand at places like Stonehenge and Avebury, he explained, and people are sometimes beckoned to such places in an ancestral way. May 4, 2018 Coast Insider Audio Eerie Crying Girl Troubles Turkish City: A strange mystery has gripped a city in Turkey as an unidentified girl has been spotted crying in an old cemetery for the last five days. The mystery girl, believed to be in her late teens, was first seen late last week in a graveyard in the Turkish city of Corum by bewildered workers who weren't quite sure what to make of the odd scene. When the girl reappeared over subsequent nights, word began to spread in the community that something weird was happening at the cemetery. Learn more. Health Benefits of Hemp: In the first half of Thursday's program, pharmacist, master herbalist, and author Earl Mindell discussed hemp (a type of cannabis plant related to marijuana), and CBD oil, a compound made from hemp that's been effective at treating dozens of disorders. Unlike marijuana, hemp contains only a negligible amount of THC (the substance that makes people high). The US government, which holds the patent for CBD (Cannabidiol) specifically because of its healing abilities, has unfairly classified hemp as a Class 1 drug, he noted, thereby banning people from growing it commercially. However, 30 states have legalized marijuana for either recreational or medical use, which certainly opens the door for hemp. Get the full recap here. Are You a Coast Insider? New England Legends & Folklore: Author and investigator Jeff Belanger has been fascinated with the supernatural since age ten, and over the years, he's interviewed hundreds of people about their experiences. In the latter half of Thursday's show, he shared frightening legends from New England folklore, as well as talked about the content and meaning of people's nightmares. One tale he imparted was that of the Wild Man of Winsted, Connecticut. In August of 1895, there were multiple sightings of a hairy "wild man" running through the rural area. Some claimed he was human; others said he was some kind of primate. Hundreds searched for him, and the creature made headlines across New England before he seemingly vanished, until there were other sightings in a nearby location in the 1970s. Could it be the same creature? Belanger pondered. Find out more here. Watch: Tourist Steals Dolphin from Chinese Beach
A bizarre video from China has raised the ire of authorities as it shows a man strolling down a beach with a dolphin over his shoulder. Police are currently trying to track down the individual who was caught on film brazenly stealing the creature that had become beached on Hailing Island. Witnesses say that the dolphin was either dead or dying when the man picked up the unfortunate animal and, rather than try to help the creature, casually carried it away from the beach. More on this strange story, including video of the dolphin theft as it unfolded, here. Weekend Edition May 07, 2018 Coast Insider Audio Secrets of Medical Self-Reliance: At the beginning of Sunday's program, George announced that popular Coast host Ian Punnett would be returning to guest host from time to time. Then, former electrical engineer turned expert in self-reliance and backyard food production, Marjory Wildcraft discussed how medical self-reliance is gaining popularity due to many factors such as medical errors, superbugs on the increase due to overuse of antibiotics, and vaccines like Guardasil prompting numerous lawsuits. Wildcraft said that she is "totally done with conventional medicine" due to her opinion that the medical system in the U.S. is expensive, dangerous (due to issues such as erroneous diagnoses and botched surgeries) and is "contrary to fundamental principles of health." See the full recap here. Baffling Pointing Arrow Illusion:
A mind-bending 3D optical illusion is baffling viewers across the internet. In the illusion a right pointing arrow is rotated 180 degrees to the left but continues pointing to the right. Breakthroughs in Veterinary Science: Resident veterinarian on Good Morning America for 17 years, and currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American Humane Association, Dr. Marty Becker, has spent his life working to create better physical and emotional well-being for pets. He addressed the latest in veterinary medicine and his new work exploring the thought processes of animals, especially during times of extreme stress, grieving, and change. Becker recalled that he was educated by veterinarians who told him that animals do not feel pain. Over his years of work in animal care, he had come to believe that this was a false assumption. He believes that the physiological reaction to fear in animals is the same as it is in humans: Stress causes health problems. Becker also discussed a healthy lifestyle for pets, which involves keeping animals engaged mentally and mimics their evolutionary makeup as hunters of prey. He concluded that "we have an obligation to these pets to not only lead a healthy life, but a happy life." See the full recap here. Emerging Artists:

Chronic Pain Treatment / Paranormal Encounters: Dr. Norman Shealy, one of the world's leading experts in pain and depression management, joined guest host Lisa Garr (email) on Saturday’s show to discuss his program for chronic pain relief and other holistic treatments. Shealy outlined his use of autogenic training—a technique that teaches the body to respond to the mind's commands—which has been shown to relax the autonomic nervous system and reduce adrenaline production, and allow patients to detach from their pain. According to Shealy, this method of pain management works in 80 percent of people with no side effects, and he has personally used it with 35,000 patients. Empath Rick Wagner survived a near death experience on a motorcycle that changed his whole perspective on life and the afterlife. During the latter half of the program, he talked about his lifetime of experiences and encounters with the paranormal, and how he developed a new understanding of the unexplained things happening around him. In his work Wagner attempts to reconnect the spirits of deceased loved ones to the families to which they belong. This past week on Coast to Coast AM, we learned about the latest happenings in the world of UFO research, the life and times of Nikola Tesla, and spirits who, for a variety of reasons, can't seem to fully cross over to the hereafter. And, at the C2C website, Bigfoot popped up in a pair of intriguing stories while the case of the controversial 'hidden' King Tut chambers was apparently solved, and we were also left to wonder why someone stole 37 garden gnomes in Scotland. Check out some highlights from the last seven days of C2C with ... In Coast You Missed It.
The mysterious realm between the living world and the afterlife was explored on a pair of programs this past week, beginning with near-death experiencer Rick Wagner on Saturday's program talking about his work communicating with spirits who have yet to realize that they are dead and how he helps them finish the journey to the 'other side.' On a similar note, Monday's program featured dowser Dan Baldwin, psychic Rhonda Hull, and paranormal researcher Dwight Hull discussing their experiences with ghosts of the Old Southwest, and included an incredible story of how the spirit of a murder victim actually helped his own killer cross over when he later passed away.
With spring in full bloom and summer right around the corner, it should come as no surprise that our old friend Bigfoot has begun to stir once again with two separate sightings of the creature making news this past week. Generating the most headlines, due to its somewhat odd setting, was a Bigfoot encounter that reportedly took place in the infamous Pine Barrens of New Jersey. While the witnesses did not capture any visual evidence from their experience, a young man in Michigan very well may have when he filmed himself on his ATV and seemingly caught sight of Sasquatch lurking in the background.
On Wednesday night's program, photojournalist Tim Swartz shared remarkable insights from his research into the life and work of Nikola Tesla. In addition to how the famed inventor wanted to provide wireless electricity to the world and tried to develop a particle beam weapon, of sorts, Swartz also recounted a rather intriguing story about a Tesla experiment involving a rotating magnetic field. According to him, this may have been some kind of time travel device as Tesla reportedly remarked, during one test of the technology, that he could "see the past, present, and future at the same time."
The Coast to Coast AM odd blotter was rife with weird crimes and curious capers this past week, beginning with a strange story out of Scotland where some yet-to-be-caught ne'er-do-well stole 37 garden gnomes from the yard of an elderly woman. Not so lucky was a would-be corn thief in Tanzania who was jinxed by the person he robbed and wound up with the massive sack of maize stuck to his head until he confessed to the heist. And Canadian officials were tasked with yet another macabre case of a dismembered foot washing ashore in British Columbia, making it the 14th such gruesome discovery in the area over the last decade.
Of all the various topics in the world of the paranormal, it would seem that UFOs may be the hottest of them all at the moment, thanks to the Pentagon UFO program revelations and what appears to be a changing public perception about the phenomenon. Former UFO investigator for the UK Ministry of Defense, Nick Pope detailed various government programs which have looked at the phenomenon in the past, and speculated about where things may be headed next, including possible Congressional hearings and the scientific search for ET signals.
Finally, this week saw a story which we'd been following for the last few years here at the Coast to Coast AM website come to a close as it was revealed that a new scan of King Tut's tomb found no hidden chambers. This development was disappointing, to say the least, after officials in Egypt had previously touted the purported lost rooms as being "full of treasures" and teased that the discoveries inside would be heralded as the "discovery of the 21st century." Alas, it was not to be and the newfound-chambers turned out to be even more of a disappointment than Al Capone's vault as they apparently didn't even exist in the first place.
Coast Insiders can check out all this week's shows as well as the last five years of C2C programs in our enormous archive. Not a Coast Insider yet? Sign up today.

Mojave Desert Mysteries: Returning to guest hosting for C2C, Ian Punnett was joined by author M.L. Behrman on Sunday night for bizarre accounts from the desolate Mojave from witnesses, both modern and historical, of things that left them shaken, terrified or worse. The Mojave could be considered a giant triangular area in the middle of Southern California, he explained, that includes both deserts and mountains, with Death Valley at the top, Joshua Tree at the bottom, and the Mojave National Preserve in the center. Many spots are 1-3 days from any roads or rescue, and the remoteness of the desert attracts people that want to hide or do things in secret. Behrman detailed accounts of giant spiders, a Satanic death ritual, a mysterious iron door, and more. Get the full recap here.
