C2C's Best Bigfoot Stories of 2018:
In 2018, the legendary Bigfoot left a mighty footprint on the paranormal news cycle that was worthy of its formidable size and equally enormous popularity. The unofficial spirit animal of C2C, Sasquatch was, per usual, possibly caught on film a few times this past year in a handful of different countries. The creature also found itself at the center of two court cases, was celebrated in three separate states, and even wound up being portrayed in a political ad! Check out our monstrous round up of Bigfoot news for 2018 here.

Secret Astronaut Update:
On Thursday's show, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the startling loss of insect life in the Americas, along with updates on secret space programs, astronaut whistleblowers, and MK-ULTRA mind control efforts. She shared updates related to her report from last month on "secret astronaut" Jon Lavine. In her subsequent reality check efforts on many of Lavine's claims, she discovered a number of fabrications. But in the face of contradictory facts, Lavine continued to insist his secret astronaut story was real, she noted. It's possible, she concluded, that the CIA "memory wipes" he claimed to have undergone, may have altered his accuracy or implanted him with false memories. She spoke with John Greenewald, producer of The Black Vault, who detailed FOIA archives that describe how the CIA and MK-ULTRA had methods as far back as the 1950s to induce selective amnesia and insert false memories on personnel working on specific classified missions. Get the full scoop here.

Economy Commentary:
First-hour guest on Thursday's show, former ABC investigative correspondent Greg Hunter offered commentary on the economy and current events. The two biggest problems in the world, he suggested, are enormous debt and enormous fraud. Globally, the debt has increased by 100 trillion since the 2008 crisis, he pointed out, while fraud is off-the-charts in the economy, Internet metrics are often faked, and $21 trillion disappeared or is unaccountable from the US government coffers. Find out more here.
C2C's Bizarre Blotter for 2018:
OrangesNL
While the world may be an increasingly unpredictable place, we can always count on misguided individuals finding weird ways to wind up in hot water with the law. Whether it was a gang in Spain busted for smuggling 9,000 pounds of oranges or a tourist in China who was wanted for stealing a dying dolphin from a beach, there was no shortage of strange and unusual capers and crimes committed in 2018. Check out our proverbial police log for the past year here.
Today in Strangeness:
On December 28, 1849, dry-cleaning was accidentally discovered when M. Jolly-Bellin, a tailor, knocked over a lamp containing turpentine and oil. Some spilled on his clothes and he noticed it had a cleaning effect. Elizabeth Jordan Carr, America's first test-tube baby, was born on this day in 1981.
The Trials and Tribulations of 'Time Travelers' in 2018:
