Protecting Yourself from Online Dangers:
An industry-recognized security expert with over twenty years of hands-on experience, Eric Cole specializes in building computer security systems to protect organizations from advanced threats. In the first half of Tuesday's show, he discussed how cyber-crime is dramatically on the rise, and the many ways you and your loved ones could be harmed online. When we're surfing or opening up email, there's a lot of backchannel communication, and monitoring of our activity that people are unaware of, he cited. The problem in the last year, he continued, is that legitimate-looking emails that are seemingly from banks and places you do business with have been arriving but are actually fraudulent, and sometimes it can just take one wrong click or attachment opened for a person's information to be compromised. Doug Noll is a lawyer who has been working with prisoners to change how they think and act in order to transform their neurochemistry and alter the negative outcomes in their lives. In the latter half of Tuesday's program, he talked about his latest work developing a new set of social listening and communication skills that can quickly defuse or de-escalate an argument or conflict. To calm someone down, he advises to ignore their words but get a sense of what their emotions are in the moment, and then reflect those emotions back to them in a simple "you" statement of validation. For example: "You're really angry and frustrated, and you don't feel supported, and nobody listens to you." Find out more here .

Nephilim War:
Ryan Pitterson is a biblical researcher who has written a comprehensive study of the Nephilim: half-human, half-angelic beings, who were said to be superhuman giants. Pitterson joined Richard Syrett in the first half of Friday's program to discuss the war between human and Nephilim bloodlines, exploring incompletely understood Biblical passages about "giants" and why he believes these angelic beings were 100% real. Pitterson pointed out certain sections in the Bible that described the Nephilim as giants, such as the story of Goliath, who "was someone of immense, superhuman strength." He believes that the goal of this hybridization was Satan's plan to pollute the pure human bloodline so that no human would ever be born who could challenge him. See the rest here.

Open Lines:
Richard Syrett started off Friday's Open Lines in the latter half with a personal story about a possible phone call from his deceased friend R. Gary Patterson. William in Washington State thought that some of the stories of giants may have come from people in Nordic countries growing "to a height of 7 feet tall and even taller" during a warm spell in ancient times. Ryan called in from Massachusetts to describe his experience with strange jet sounds from the skies that would start and stop abruptly, as well as strange, heavenly "rumbling noises" that he recently experienced. Charlotte in Michigan recalled a bright light over her house and a loud boom and later found that a meteorite had fallen to Earth some 20 miles away. More here.
Video: Three Tons of Gold Falls From Russian Cargo Plane

A bizarre incident in the sky over Siberia saw nearly 200 gold bars tear through a cargo plane and plummet to the ground. The massive cache of bullion, which weighed a whopping three tons, was part of an even larger haul of treasure which included silver and diamonds that were packed into the plane. It is believed that these particular pieces of gold were not properly secured inside the plane when it took to the air and, shortly thereafter, the crushing weight of the bars dislodged a hatch on the vessel and sent them raining down onto the runway. Princess Diana Conspiracy:
Joining Dave Schrader on Sunday night, author and journalist Sarah Whalen shared her research into the life and death of Princess Diana. She suggested that people resonated with Diana as a kind of goddess, or bridge figure between the human and divine. Citing the murders of various British royalty going back hundreds of years, Whalen compared Diana's death to what she considered to be the "ritual sacrifices" of two of Henry the VIII's wives. The British monarchy, she contended, wanted Diana taken out for some of the comments she made, such as Prince Charles not being fit to rule, and seized on a window of opportunity when she was in Paris, without her usual security team. Zombies on Film & TV: In the latter half of Sunday's show, author and pop culture analyst Dahlia Schweitzer discussed her new book "Going Viral: Zombies, Viruses, and the End of the World," which explores stories of pandemics and disease outbreaks in American film and TV. The zombie narrative has changed over the decades, she noted, starting out with its origin in Haiti and voodoo culture, with religious or black magic overtones. Then in the 1960s and 70s, came the George Romero model, which never pinned down exactly what caused the zombie outbreak, though there were implications of radiation or something from outer space. With the Resident Evil video game and the film 28 Days Later (2002), the notion of infection was introduced, said Schweitzer, and this viral aspect has remained a mainstay of shows such as The Walking Dead. The city has a deep significance for Nursultan Nazarbayev, the autocratic ruler of the country, who had a close hand in its design.
