That's cool. I know where it's hid. LOL
Meanwhile, here's a live video from St. Barth.
Dunno how long the camera will last as Irma approaches the island.

Busy busy! I'll check in when I can, too. You take care of Dan and I'll take care of Mom. Lots of laundry and packing to do.
Gas is in short supply around here. Bummer, that. Gonna make it harder to get out of town.

Hi everybody! Thank you, Plantlady.
Well, it's been a while...
first, here's a video by a lovely man filming his family visiting a horse.
Now for an update.
We went to SC. Older brother in SC and his family is all around there.
Mom got weak in the knees and couldn't stand once we got there. Bro got her admitted to a facility there where she could get help bathing and stuff, but she still couldn't stand or walk. I and other bro kept saying she needed to be examined, tested for UTI. Y'all will find out as you get older that UTIs become more common, so watch out for that.
Anyway, ended up coming back after Irma went thru SC. Mom stayed in SC. As of this writing, she still isn't walking. Last Thursday a staff member managed to get her to walk twelve feet, I'm told. But, no follow up, no repeat. They just move her around like a sack of potatoes, apparently. (Nobody wants to listen to Barefoot when he says she needs to go to emergency room or hospital where she can get physical therapy)
So, anyway, I got back to Miami on Wednesday afternoon. No electric. Hot, sticky, no wind at all. Took the panels off the windows, cleaned the fridge out, took lukewarm showers often, sat in the dark a lot. Charged my phone in the car with the a/c once a day. Did some clean up in the yard. Did I mention it was hot and sticky and no wind?
Friday night, 11:30ish the power came on. rush to close windows and get a/c going. turned on all ceiling fans, booted computer and promptly fell asleep. LOL
Then, the car decided to break down. It's still sitting there. Older bro says he wants to fix it, but won't be here till next weekend. So, no car to do errands. Then, he wants to take the car back with him to SC. Which will leave me without a car unless I sink about two thousand into fixing mine, which blue book says is only worth one thousand.
Add to all that, the plan is to sell Mom's house, which puts me on the street without a car, or job.
So...I'm looking for an apt. I've been told I can get an apt anywhere I want and it will be paid for a year after Mom's house sells. Meanwhile, I have to find a job so I'll know where I need to live.
I'm trying to find some communities that are gay friendly, in gay friendly states - California, Washington, or next to here in Broward County (I'd prefer to get out of Florida). Not NYC. I'm also looking around Colorado. But, I also need to find a job that pays well in one of these areas before I move there. Rent requirements could be a problem - many of the places require proof of income treble the rent per month. How, if I haven't found a job yet?
Fish or cut bait? Which came first, the residence or the job?
Frankly, looking at apartments is depressing as hell.
So...maybe I should take up drinking. heh
Oh, and I have three cats. I may reduce that to two by taking Luci to the Humane Society if necessary. But, getting rid of them all just pisses me off to think about.
So, no car, no home, no job, three cats, and no one seems interested in getting Mom the care she needs to get her walking again.
But, I'm not complaining. Could be worse. I could be in Puerto Rico.
Hi everyone! How's things with all y'all?
