The ambitious explorers created a fascinating video of their trek to Tikaboo Peak, which is the highest point near Area 51 accessible to the public. Although 26 miles away from the base, the location's vantage point allows visitors a fairly clear glimpse of the base, unlike what most anyone has ever seen, unless they work there, of course. Open Lines During Friday night's Open Lines, Jennie called in from Ohio to relate a strange daytime UFO sighting where she observed an "extra large aircraft" which seemed to disappear in mid-flight, except for the windows. She thinks it was a military test of "some sort of cloaking device." She said that two other witnesses were present. Michael called in from North Carolina with a ghost story about an abandoned and apparently haunted tuberculosis ward. He and a friend were exploring the property when they observed someone sawing wood. When they called out to him, the figure turned to face them, but Michael said "he didn't have a face" and then "turned around and disappeared." More here. More than 40 years after shooting "The Exorcist," film director William Friedkin has returned to the subject matter-- but this time as a documentary! In The Devil and Father Amorth , which just screened at the Venice Film Festival, Friedkin recorded the Vatican's exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth (pictured below) performing an exorcism on a woman, as she violently thrashed about, screamed, and foamed at the mouth. An intriguing piece of footage from Los Angeles shows a police helicopter circling an odd metallic-looking orb that is floating in the sky. Area resident Julian Lopez filmed the weird scene early last week and, in the video, he marvels that "there's a UFO over the San Gabriel Valley" and observes that it looks like a balloon, but appears to be untethered. While that alone would make for a fairly pedestrian UFO video, the presence of a police helicopter flying around the object adds an additional layer of strangeness to the footage. Learn more.

Administrators at the Abbeycwmhir Heritage Trust in Wales say that they received an anonymous letter in the mail which contained a small stone and a rather remarkable story. According to the author of the note, a self-described 'fan of Welsh history,' they had recently visited the famed 12th century abbey and snatched a rock from the site, which was a decision they soon regretted. An exorcist in Italy is raising eyebrows due to a number of worrisome statements in which he mused that the world is coming to an end. A frequent speaker on the nature of evil and the devil, Don Antonio Mattatelli recently responded to inquiries about an earthquake which rocked his home country as well as the powerful hurricanes which hit the United States. In an interview with an Italian radio program, the exorcist did not mince words, musing that "all natural disasters, such as hurricanes and earthquakes, demonstrate that the end of the world is coming." Family Spots Jesus' Face in Photo

A family visiting a holy site in Ireland were amazed when they spotted what appears to be the face of Jesus in the clouds captured in a group photo. Liam and Roy Fox along with their family trekked to the top of Ireland's Croagh Patrick, which is considered a sacred mountain where Saint Patrick purportedly spent 40 days fasting and praying. Stopping in front of a chapel that sits atop the site, the family posed for a picture to commemorate their day together and wound up with something perhaps even more memorable. As they were looking over the photos later in the day, they were stunned to see a rather remarkable formation in the clouds hovering over the chapel. Read more.

In a truly bizarre chain of events, an anonymous individual behind a Facebook group known as 'Clown Purge Australia' warned residents of the country of a soon-to-be unleashed onslaught of miscreants in greasepaint and floppy shoes. The chilling message was enough to send the Australian media into a frenzy, but many Australians vowed to fight any clowns that they happened to encounter and to vanquish them by any means necessary, which turned out to be a frightening prospect for the once-menacing harlequins. A spooky video from Malaysia shows a mysterious white cat suddenly appear during a man's funeral and refuse to leave his freshly-filled grave. The eerie scene was captured on video by the man's grandson, who says that the cat did not belong to the family nor do they have any idea where it came from. Nonetheless, the feline seemed to connect with the departed man as it sat perched on his grave, despite several attempts to get the captivated cat to leave. See the weird incident here.

In the second half on Thursday, journalist, television commentator, and longtime Washington, D.C. insider Sally Quinn discussed how influential the paranormal has been in her life. Polar Bear Herd Spotted Feasting:
Tourists cruising near Russia's Wrangel Island were stunned to see hundreds of polar bears feasting on the remains of a dead whale. Spotted by passengers aboard the 'Akademik Shokalskiy' earlier this month, the incredible gathering featured both male and female polar bears as well as a number of hungry cubs. In total, the nature reserve that the animals call home estimated that there were an astounding 230 of the creatures at the impromptu polar bear buffet. Read more.
