I've been working on finally relocating the garage cats out to the shed, so I can clean from top to bottom, then get the house cats out into gargae, then my house will be cat free... the numbers are going down, but I want to get some things done to the house as in updates and flooring etc, and just can;t` with cats still in the house. so I'm working till I can barely stand, but I'm so focused I do not want to get side tracked!
glad you had lunch with Robert, PL that was nice
its to go down to 39 here tonight and tomorrow I brought the ferns in and the calla lilly just in case
busy work week end for me... no fun and no dancing but I'm still getting a work out.. lol@

Glad to hear that you are making progress, especially with the cats, SAR. How many are left? Wish some kind souls would help you by giving some of them forever homes.
Thankfully it didn't get down to freezing last night but only a high of 63 today. I watered plants, harvested parsley and basil to dehydrate, and as I was removing my almost dead cucumber vines I found two small cukes! Got a bunch of green tomatoes still growing so hope it will stay warm enough for awhile to keep them going.
for the middle east situation. It's definitely getting scary.

had 44 when Dan pasted (remember I have 10 acres and several outbuildings for them, and an 8 ft fence... now down to 20, and 10 of those are 18 plus yrs old several are in their 20's so .. I can see an end in sight, but just being to integrate some of them and move them to the 2 story barn, is already proving to be a good thing, only 4 left in garage, then I can put half of wat is in the house in garage snd keep 1 or 2 in house, was going to get them all out but thinking on it.. mice and snakes warrant a good hunter... and as GG said, I will have company in the house... if I get them ALL out, Hmmm I have never not had a pet in the house!
I have about 3 or 4 more days to get the outbuildings suitable, then I will work on my house! I'm hoping for new floors and some wall treaments this winter if I can find the right folks (or company) to do it.
have a good Sunday evening and I see we are getting some guests, I'm trying to update threads daily.

SAR, looks like our warm weather is finally leaving. It's in the 70's here now but temps will be dropping after this. Watered and trimmed outside plants this morning, picked some tomatoes and celery, did dishes and laundry, etc. Went to the store and ran errands Wednesday like you did. Hope you get everything fixed for winter for your fur babies.
to everyone who stops by. Hope to hear what's going on in their lives lately.

PL, it will take me a good few more weeks but I'm working at it.... I'm having company for dinner tonight, and so I will have to quit working in a few minutes and put cats inside.. they been out chasing leaves in the fenced yard.
no place close is having anything this week end so I will concentrate on home! stay safe and warm everyone, we have not yet had our hard freeze and indian summer yet.

It's been cool (not cold) and slightly rainy here the last two days as well. Makes me want to go into hibernation mode. Not sure if the weather or my other health conditions (or both) are making me draggy! It was too overcast to see any of the partial eclipse.
Hope everyone has a good week ahead despite all that's going on in the world!
