The snow should be here any minute. It’s also supposed to go through later tomorrow. We may get some mixing in near the coast. I think the main concern is the wind which could gust close to 60 mph. Dad has lots of food and a generator. His sister is now in a home. We know she’ll be taken care of there. Hopefully no worries unless a tree falls on my house! One neighbor is still being difficult about trimming or removing one that I feel it’s not safe. We even offered to pay... unfortunately it’s right on the property line! On a lighter note, we change the clocks ahead on March 14th. Yay!!! Stay safe and warm everyone. Sending prayers to all of Lynques’ family and loved ones.

we have about 7 inches on the ground and it is to keep snowing till tonight. now the nor easter kicked in and we are getting the back lash of the east wind over the open Lake Erie. oh it gets better by Monday the high is to be 0! that is what I hate the bitter cold where it hurts to breath I worry about all the feral animals the deer are eating me out of house and home as are the cats. I should weigh 15 lbs for what I eat compared to what I spend on them lol at least I am blessed to be able to do it! Kona, I will that angels hold the tree up off your house! I've had many fall on fences, sheds barns praying my house will be spared! I hope you all stay safe and warn, I do not know if this storm is reaching CSue and PL. God Bless us all and the country.

I'm lucky because it's still not cold enough to snow here, so just , but they say temps will be getting more frigid by this weekend. Kona, glad your dad is well prepared! SAR, hope you can stay warm and keep the fur babies warm as well. I imagine that CSue is getting hit as well.
A wonderful friend dropped by this morning to visit and it was so nice to see her! Then went to PT to get my shoulder worked on and then visit with the girls that work there at the chiro clinic. Got four hugs plus a couple from my friend this morning. An uplifting day, for sure.
My friend Mary Jo had surgery, is finally doing better, and has been sent to rehab! They believe that the mesh that was put in to lift her bladder when she had a hysterectomy was causing her infection so they removed it in what sounds like a long and difficult procedure. Her white cell count went down right away after the surgery. Answered prayers!
Both sons are working but looking for other jobs. LOL
Hope you all stay safe and sending warm thoughts your way.

We got a little this morning but now it's cloudy and dreary with possibly a little snow coming. Can't wait for spring!
Nothing much going on here. Someone finally moved into my old apartment last week. I hope she has better luck with her next door neighbor there than I did. The only thing I miss about that apt. was the sunshine and being able to grow so much there. Too much shade over here. :(
Had more physical therapy for my shoulder Thursday and I'm finally getting less numbness in my fingers now. Also losing a little weight so that's a plus as well.
Hope you are all having a good weekend despite the weather.

my kitty Rupert is still missing...His brother Jackson follows me and cries out when I call Ruuuuuperrrrt.......I tore everything apart and walked the perimeter of the 8 ft fence and a long shot, but moved everything in the shed. I think a hawk got him or he is dead cause if he could he'd meow and come to me... and there are NO prints outside, we have 10 inches of snow and I have not let them out in the cold.... this is a huge mystery! but after 4 days with no food or water, I think he is dead. or gone.... he is a garage kittie but I also torn the house apart just in caase he snuck in. I just want to know........ even if I find him dead.

I FOUND RUPERT! last night he jumped up on the table as I was getting ready to close up shop and go to bed.... so he somehow got himself into the house, and was terrified and hid! I loved him and fed him and held him and he was shaking!!! but he was NOT frozen outside or hawk food.. I am so thankful!!!!

It's so hard to know what happens to them sometimes. Ryan's cat Pepper went outside in 2008 (2 years after he died) and we never could find her. Then a year later we found her body crushed between two pieces of plywood leaning up against the side of the carport wall. Poor girl. :(
Hope you have found Rupert by now.
A little snow and ice coming the next few days along with much colder temps. Nothing like some of the rest of you have, though!

Glad Rupert showed up! For some reason your post about finding him didn't show up when I was responding to your other post.

Well, I have just been told that we can expect 5-11 inches of snow Monday into Tuesday. I guess I'd better get myself to the grocery store to get bread and milk. And a few other things on the shopping list.
Stay well. Stay safe. Stay warm.

So glad you found Rupert Sue! Glad the PT is helping you plantlady! I was happy to hear that your sons found jobs to "hold them over" until they can find something better. Hi GG! They are saying we are going to get that storm on Tuesday. They won't say how much snow though... Since we are close to the coast, they never know if it will mix with . We'll know when it's over! lol I got a call tonight from the Fire Chief in my Dad's small town. He's scheduled for his vaccines!!! Yay (I registered him with the town a couple of weeks ago) The first shot will be next week. He lives in Rhode Island and they are not doing well with the vaccine thing. I must say though that his little town has been very helpful. They told me they were going by exclusively by age after the special needs registry. I'm glad they came through because CVS and Walgreens are being overwhelmed and you can't even get through on the phone or websites. I think it was reported today that RI was 50th (the worst) in distribution of vaccines out of all of the states! And their wonderful Governor (NOT!) is waiting to be confirmed as Commerce Secretary... Most locals will be glad to see her go, but it's scary to think of her in that new role! I could go on for hours about her... I'm on the laptop tonight, it's so much easier to read & post. Take care all and stay safe & warm!

GG they are not even saying what we might get... it has to do with the lake!
so good to see you Kona, and I;m glad for your dad. I am not going to get one as I am doing the holistic stuff.. and I do not do well with vaccines at all. I am having such pain and loss of motion in my arm from the pneumonia shot over a yr ago! nope I am done... but I understand some want/have to get it.
we have not had a temp above 22 for over 2 weeks or more....
I'm about to call it a day so I can get chores done tomorrow so I can catch some of the defense .... praying for good to prevail
stay safe everyone
