Hi, all. I hope you all are well and safe and warm. It is cold out there! But all is well. Our daughter had surgery eight days ago. She is doing well. At the hospital she was told that the "good" patients get to go home in five days. They released her at three days. It was a week yesterday since they did the procedure. I went to spend the day on Monday so she wouldn't be alone. The visiting nurse said she is good to be on her own, just be careful. This is a wonderful gift. I'm sorry for being so selfish at this time. I know you all have your struggles and daily life to attend to, too. Sincerely, I hope all is well in your world. GG

GG, glad to hear that your daughter's surgery went well!! Sorry that I missed saying Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I'm glad you all had a good one. Billy's headstone came last week. I was glad it finally came as I didn't like his grave being unmarked, but once I seen it, it made it so real again and brought back such sadness and grief. He wanted a flat headstone on the ground as he helped to mow the graveyard and the flat stones were so much easier to mow right over. His stone is just what he wanted and more. His son got a picture of a crane put on it. He operated all types of heavy equipment throughout his life but he considered operating the crane as one of his biggest achievements. PL, I'm glad you got your TV. Mine is just small too, 32" I think it is. I only watch General Hospital but I keep it for the grandkids come and want to watch cartoons. We had so much a couple days ago, lots of flooding. The waters have gone down a lot yesterday. At least it mild weather and it didn't come as snow! But we are getting some snow tomorrow night. Hugs Sar, as you go through the 3rd year anniversary of Dan's passing.

I am with you, SAR. The fraud. And people so disrespectful of the Office of the President of the United States, regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office. I tend to avoid looking at the news because the very people who were critical of the critics of Pres. O have been just as disrespectful of President Trump. I'd better walk away from this discussion. LOL!
I haven't gotten any decorating done at my house, either. Maybe this weekend. When I set up the nativity I want Ayden (age 4) to help me so I can tell him the Christmas story. We will also be making hard tack candy, fudge and baking some cookies this weekend. Ashley is excited for us to do this together. We've been pretty much sheltering together during this whole deal.
I really need to get Christmas shopping done, gifts made that I am making. Burning daylight here. :D

SAR I saw that snow front headed your way the other day and just shuddered. It's below freezing here at night lately but up in the 40's during the day. GG, so glad your daughter's surgery went well and that she is recovering. That's a good early Christmas present! CSue, all I can do is send you virtual hugs and lots of love. I know you miss Billy. I have a 32" (to put in the bedroom) and now a 43" tv. Remember when we used to think that a 32" was huge??? Randy wanted me to get a bigger one but I found a good deal on the one I bought. I keep praying that the disrespect and fraud will all be exposed and dealt with. What a scary time this is. :( Randy is digitizing old VHS tapes we had with Ryan on them so he is planning to make a new montage video or two. He wants me to dig out more photos of Ryan but it is still so hard for me to look at them, even after all this time. I know I need to do it. I believe he is working on a video to post on Ryan's memorial page for Christmas, probably for his dad, who may or may not make it to next summer. Very difficult for my boys knowing that they will be losing their father. He did get a job (an hour's drive each way) and is due to start Tuesday but has a video interview today for a better job closer by so and crossing my fingers. Hope everyone is having a good day and keeping warm.

I have been getting food from Chewy delivered every 2 weeks.. 2 bags of 22 lgs of meow mix and 3 21 lb bags of fresh step... I still have to supplement that and this is not counting can food I buy when there is a sale. anyway my point being about 3 weeks ago, ALL the cats had runny squirts and I was just cleaning all the time, the shed cats the garage cats the porch ferals and the few house cats.... it was red ooze but no odor to it. also alot of vomiting. went out and bought a different brand and they are all back to tootsie roll poop and no vomiting. I have stocked up and prepped getting exxtra bags of meow mix when I could in case I can;t get out or the supply chain dries up.... so I am sitting on a LARGE amt of meow mix and will have to try to get enough of the new stuff to get them through the holidays. I do not know if Meow Mix changed the formula but I think they got too much red dye in the food and it is affecting the cats. I have way too much to ship back so I will cut it with other food and basically feed most to the ferals. it just seems when something is going along then they change it and it disrupts everything. I will donate some to the local shelter AFTER I tell them my experience.... they might not want it. we'll see. some of my cats can stomach it better then others. cold dreary day here... lots to get done and no motivation. I hope and Trump has a plan cause he flat out said last night we will win this.! hugs and prayers for all

SAR, very strange about those kitties. It could have been a virus or bacteria too, but who knows. Glad they are doing better after a change in diet.
Dreary weather here too. Not very motivating. LOL I did manage to get through and pull out Christmas photos from '83 to 2005 for Randy. Still have to check the memory stick from my old computer for some before I send them all to him. So many cute photos, so many memories....
Filled up the crock pot this morning with veggies and a little meat so I'll be having home made soup for supper tonight.

Shuddering just thinking about your frigid weather and snow. It's in the 20's here at night now and 30's/40's during the day. We got one whole inch of snow which didn't even stick to the streets or sidewalks. Possible snow coming for Christmas but too early to tell for sure.
Randy didn't get either of the jobs he thought he was hoping he would get so he's rather down. Please keep him in your prayers. Money situation is getting tight for both boys. Prayers needed also for my neighbor Pam's only daughter is in the hospital with fluid around her and kidney function down. My cousin Mark is still in the hospital in the Chicago area, still in serious condition, but improving even though now he's tested positive for COVID. So many suffering this year, sadly. Hope GG's daughter is healing quickly.
Hope everyone else is doing well and getting ready for Christmas.
