Hi, Everyone. It's busy, busy, busy here. I don't get online much. Things should slow down when I close up my secret workshop for this Christmas. ROFLMBO!!! I am still making gifts. Our daughter is doing very well. Physical therapy was at her place today. He said, "Can you walk to there?" and pointed. She looked at him and said, "I can walk anywhere you want me to." She sees the surgeon the 29th for follow up and to get permission to begin driving again. Thank you for your concern and prayers for her.
Christmas ... I wish we were all going to be together for Christmas. But with the news of spiking and then a new Covid virus worse than we already have experienced ... When will it all stop???
I am disappointed that we didn't get to see the Christmas star tonight. It's been raining since about mid-afternoon, I think. Figures. I won't be around to see it in another 800 years. LOL!
Merry Christmas from our house to yours. Happy holiday for whichever one you celebrate in your family. I hope for a good 2021 for all.

Oh so glad to hear that your daughter is doing so well, GG! I missed the star last night but hope it will be visible tonight. I did get to see Mars last night, though.
I'll be spending time with my boys Christmas Eve but don't know about the grandkids. I haven't seen them in many months because of this COVID stuff.
Wish you could get that vertigo thing fixed SAR! Hope he got his keys and is in the process of moving his stuff now.
One of my neighbors passed away Friday with cancer she didn't know had returned. They told her she was all clear two months ago. So sad. We weren't close friends but we did talk occasionally.
Now off to work on making Christmas cookies....
to all....

Merry Christmas to you all!!
Sure isn't going to be the same here this Christmas. I didn't bother putting up a tree but I do have outside lights as Billy loved them. Fred likes the outdoor lights too. When I tell him I'm going to turn them on he runs to the window to watch. He's been doing that every Christmas since we got him.
Jamie, Lisa and the boys were over for a visit today. Fred was so happy to see them. He followed Jamie around everywhere. Little Jake said maybe he thinks he's Billy. lol Fred had fun playing with the boys too.
Farrah won't be able to get over until sometime next week. She has the whole week off but her husband Jeff has to work. She sent me some pictures tonight of her and Piper by their Christmas tree. Piper is excited. Jamie and family are going to visit them tonight.
Enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas day everyone!

CSue I understand.. I do not have a tree this yr. even the yr Dan died in Jan he told me YOU put up a tree! so I put up a small one by his hospital bed. I just could not bring myself to do it this yr.
I'm not above saying when I made a mistake and thispast 18 months I made a doozy! so he is moving out and I just have not been up to dealing with trying to put a tree up in one day... I will get through this yr and start fresh in Jan. right now I just want my home and life back and not have to answer to anyone but myself!
so wishing you all a very happy, Merry Christmas and a safe holiday.. many of us are alone because of covid so remember to touch base with the elderly if you can
we are in the middle of a horrible snow storm system
love and hugs to you all.

Hope you all had as enjoyable Christmas as possible although I know it's been difficult for all of us!
SAR I hope by now that you have your house to yourself and can get back to concentrating on what you want to do. Hope you are digging out of that snowstorm and are safe and warm.
I didn't get to see Hannah and Wyatt but Randy and Robert were here Christmas Eve and we had a pleasant afternoon together. I didn't even pull out my Christmas boxes but did made a Christmas card "tree" on the wall and we took photos. Randy made two short videos with photos of Christmases with Ryan when he was young and posted them on our Remember Ryan FB page.
Headed to see a PA and then to get a PT evaluation for my left arm today since the finger numbness has been getting worse and worse. I've sprained that arm in a fall, in the car accident and had a torn rotator cuff on that side during the past 14 years. Such fun....not.
A long time dear friend has been in the hospital in serious condition for awhile with some kind of strange infection, probably bacterial. I didn't talk to her husband last night but the night before he told me that they said if she still wouldn't eat they were going to put her on a feeding tube. :( He said she's hardly eaten anything since Thanksgiving. Please keep her in your prayers. She and her husband are wonderful people.

Will be praying for your friend, PL... hope she turns the corner soon. Sorry you couldn;t see the grands, but you know they love you. I have not seen Heather and the grands, or Dan jrs family....so maybe when this all breaks. he is like molasses getting his stuff from the house, he is painting closests and what ever "before" he brings in his stuff;. in the mean timre I just keep adding to the stuff in my living roomn, you can;t sit or watch tv in there now but all the stuff is getting closer to the door. then I will clean one area and re organize and go from there. until he is all the way out I can;t concentrate. he stopped sleeping her 2 weeks ago and today he bought a mattress for his bed frame .. so between staying with his mom and at his place he should NOT need to stay here! we got about 2 inches of and all the snow is gone but water and mud everywhere. I've already lost 7 lbs from him not being here.. no glutan, no dairy and no premade cardboard food! so I am looking forward to a brand new beginning this New Yrs. I can have men friends and that is fine with me. I now KNOW I need my alone time! have a great day everyone!

But the end is in sight, SAR. ;D Most of the snow we got Christmas Eve is gone. But they say another storm is coming. The map looks like instead of the white stuff. OK by me. And I just read an article at The Blaze that Bill Gates wants to "save the planet" by funding a "block the sun rays" project. Oh, boy. What is next? I don't think I want to know. Despite our problems -- all of us -- I sense hope and determination in the discussion. Hold that thought, my friends. Hope and determination. I take my daughter for follow-up with her surgeon tomorrow. She still is doing great. She said if she would ever have to go through it again she wouldn't. It was a lot, major surgery. But it's all behind her now. :D I did put up our Christmas tree. It's three parts and lighted so it takes about 5 minutes to set it up. I knew it was likely that we were the only ones to look at it, but I wanted the lights. I've kind of thought maybe I will leave it up until my family can gather together, even if it's June, for a Christmas dinner. The other idea is that in the middle of summer we could go out to the tree farm to find a tree, bring it home, set it up and decorate it and celebrate that way. We will see what happens. At this moment I will wish you a Happy, Healthy 2021. Take care, all.

I am so tired of limited contact. And two quarantines within a month was way more than I wanted. Beth is released to go back to work and resume normal activities Jan. 5. She is still healing. It will take a little time, but the things she is experiencing are normal for open surgery. She looks great today. Glad you are getting your house back. :D

Sar, I'm glad you are getting your house back. Alone time is important. I'm glad you realized that it wasn't going to work out and didn't just settle. It worked out for me and Billy so I was lucky. But I'm not taking any chances again, I'm staying alone for the rest of my life. PL, those videos of Ryan at Christmas time sure pull at the heartstrings. GG, so glad to hear that your daughter is doing well. My older sister had open surgery 6 years ago and she just keeps going and going like the energizer bunny. Farrah was going to come to visit this week as she has the week off but then she got sick! I told her I would drive over and bring the gifts to her. But she said she really wanted to come over and should be better by Saturday, so that's the plan. I'm looking forward to seeing them. Fred will be so excited to see them too. I've been walking Fred a lot. I enjoy it now and can't wait for the summer walks. There probably won't be many more days this winter that we'll walk because of the colder weather that will be coming. I hope you all have a very good New Years Eve!

Happy New Year!
GG, so glad that your daughter is improving so well. I can't blame you on the Christmas tree! As far as Bill Gates, I look forward to him getting his just reward in Hades.
SAR, hope by now things are back to "normal" there.
CSue, I hope Farrah is all better by Saturday.
My sister Leslie came down sick with a cold on Christmas so on top of some family members not coming to her house that day (paranoid about COVID) and still grieving for her daughter, she's had a rough time.....and then her husband fell and broke his arm!
My friend Mary Jo who is so ill now has a feeding tube and her husband says she is so weak she can hardly move her legs. Praying every day.
So much happening. Even though I'm here alone, I feel everyone's pain and all the frustration regarding the political corruption. Praying that 2021 is better.....
