SAR glad you are able to keep so busy and have that "help". I'll bet you have little trouble sleeping at night.
It's been cool enough at night that I can open a window and get fresh air instead of using a/c. It's going to start warming up again shortly but at least we got a break.
So much trouble with my left hip muscles lately (from the accident 5 years ago) that I'm back to going to the chiro (for that and other things) three times a week. I may end up needing physical therapy again, I don't know. Just wish I could walk normally without pain again!
So much going on in the world. Many needed.

Sar, so sad about the man that helped you out so much after Dan died. Sending prayers for his family. PL, I hope your luck changes for the better. Vehicle maintenance can sure cost a lot. A couple years ago Billy got the a/c fixed in the car, it cost a little over $3000! We just sold the car. He drives a work vehicle now and I have the truck here to use so we don't really need an extra vehicle now. I loved that car though. I felt sad to see it go. But two vehicles can cost a lot with registrations, inspections, insurance and maintenance. It's been so hot here, high 80's and the last few days have been around 91F. We went to a birthday party for my youngest sister at the camp and it was so hot out. We stayed for 2 hours but should of left sooner. Billy isn't supposed to be in the heat, doctor's orders because of his condition. Fred had a great time up there though. My neighbour nephew Roger has a little and she and Fred didn't like each other. Roger had his little there and they became friends. Fred kept trying to herd her back into the circle area where everyone was gathered. lol He was quite intent on his "job" too. He would usually go swimming in the river but he didn't at all, he was too busy chasing the little and herding her back. PL, I'm glad you got a little break from the heat. I hope we do too but the forecast has us with heat warnings for all this week. Stay safe and enjoy the week!

CSue, we got a short break from the oppressive heat last week but it's back this week and brought us a storm last night that caused wind damage. When we had our border collie, Nova, she didn't like other dogs coming on to her property. She loved everyone else though and was always trying to herd the cats. LOL Yep, sometimes you have to weigh the cost of fixing a vehicle compared to buying another one. Since mine only has 77,000 miles on it (it's a 2007) and is in good condition I decided it was worth it for now. Hope you don't have any storms that knock out power while it's hot since Billy needs to stay in the a/c.
SAR, same here. I'm lucky if I sleep three or four hours at night and once I wake up there is no going back to sleep. That's why I end up taking a nap every afternoon. I've just resigned myself to it at this point. *sigh* I haven't been able to sleep in a bed for several years because of pain from the injuries and surgery so I sleep in a recliner with pillows and ice packs and/or hot water bottles. Any idea what is causing your hip pain? A chiro and/or physical therapy might help and if it is bursitis, glucosamine may help. Been there, done that too. Sorry about Raymond. Has he crossed over yet?
Hope everyone is keeping cool and having a good week.

Sad about Raymond and the brother he left behind.
Please keep my uncle and his family in your prayers. He's disabled and they live in Harvey IL that was hit with those awful storms. No power for two days now. My cousin was able to let me know via her cell phone.

No word about my family members got power yet. I sure hope so.
Those chiro visits are helping me. I can walk better again with far less pain. Two more weeks of treatments....
My next door neighbor who fell and broke her leg and ankle a few months ago, fell again day before yesterday. She said she didn't break anything this time but she's very bruised and in pain.
Waving to all who stop by this weekend. Hope it's a good one.

Yes, we certainly don't heal as quickly as we get older, SAR.
Good news this morning is that my family in the Chicago area finally got their power back on and are okay.
The bad news is that I got a call from one of my sisters on the condition of my 40 year old niece. Jenny is in a Phoenix hospital in critical condition as a result of liver and kidney failure. She almost died before because of her drinking but she went back to it and this time it is much worse. She's on complete kidney dialysis. My sister who called is a retired RN. She told me that Jenny's condition has a 40-60 percent mortality rate. It's not looking good. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

So sorry to hear about your niece, PL. Sending prayers! Just a quick message, I've got to run and get some things done. I tried to send this message to Sar and PL in messenger on facebook but they have the link already censured, won't even let it go through on messenger!! I just watched part 2 of Plandemic that just came out. Did you watch it? Someone had shared it on facebook and I can't remember now who it was and thought maybe it was one of you. Very informative! They exposed everything. A bunch of evil criminals!!! I tried to share it on facebook but they have it censured already. Here's the link to watch clips of the show. That's if they aren't censuring it on messenger too. freedomplatform.tv/plandemic-indoctornation-world-premiere/Just noticed that you have to download those clips to watch them. Interesting comments about the movie on that page though.
