Hi, everyone. I'm sorry about Raymond, SAR. Last week on Wednesday my daughter was off for the day from work. She called me upset and crying. I could hardly make out what she was saying. She needed me to come and help her right away. Was Ayden OK? Yes. Zeva? It was Zeva. I dropped what I was doing, jumped in the Jeep and drove over. I was sure I knew what I was going to find. And I was right. Zeva had crossed the Rainbow Bridge sometime after 3:30 a.m. Ashley was crying because she didn't make Zeva go upstairs with them when they went to bed. That hated to those steps. I called Fred and told him I needed him to come over right away, to help with Zeva. I spread a soft blanket in the back of the Jeep for her and we drove back to our house. 90 degrees outside and we had to dig a grave for a collie/wolf/Australian shepherd mix. That was the best . She is missed terribly. It's been a challenging week for all of us. I had to go to the doctor's on Thursday because my knee was swollen and I could hardly walk. She put me on Naproxen for 7 days for inflammation and pain. It's getting better. I am so glad. She said if this didn't work I would have to have x-rays (for bone) and CT-scan for muscle to see what was going on in there. I twisted my knee about a month ago but it didn't hurt when I did it and I considered myself lucky. But it got progressively worse. Ya know, I hate this getting old thing. It is for the birds!

CSue, glad you posted that link here. I watched it live but for those who haven't at least there are other ways to pass along the links besides Censorbook.
Talked to my sister a little while ago and they told her not to lose hope for Jenny. They are hoping to try new procedures to help her. She's sedated, unconscious on a ventilator and they will have to make sure she has no blood clots before they proceed. It is likely that she will have to have transplants if there is a chance of surviving so she will likely be put on a list.
Hate to hear that you are having such allergy problems, SAR. That takes a toll on us.
Beautiful day here, about 80 degrees with sunshine. Nice break before it starts to heat up and get miserable again.

SAR, sounds like you guys have been busy as usual. I'm not doing much outside since it's turned hot and humid again. I get such awful heat rashes when it gets like this.
Some tiny improvements with my niece Jenny but at the same time the doctors asked my sister if she wanted a DNR (do not resusitate) order just in case. She couldn't bring herself to do that. So heartbreaking.
Trying to get some cleaning and reorganizing done while I'm stuck in the apartment. It's never ending.
Prayers for those on the Gulf Coast as they prepare for two possible hurricanes so close together! My ex sister in law says they are boarding up their home in Lake Charles, LA.

Yes DNR is hard to do for someone else, that is why I really believe in folks seeing to their end times before they are needed!
Prayers continue!
it is hot and humid here too and I've have a headache again, last one ended with an EQ in Michigan
so who knows!
stay safe everyone and enjoy life the best you can.. we never know what tomorrow holds~!

Yes Sar, the censorship at fb is so frustrating. GG, that is so heartbreaking about Zeva. PL, I hope your niece pulls through this. Miracles do happen. Happy Birthday! We had some yesterday and last night! I hope it was enough to do some good. The rivers are drying up and the grass is turning brown. I have only had to mow the lawn 5 times so far this summer. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. The day started out nicely with a visit to the chiro and his staff. Then I got a message from my ex sister in law in Louisiana that a buoy in the Gulf was recording a 34 foot so they were evacuating to Dallas. Their home in Lake Charles is only about 6 ft. above sea level. When I got home after the chiro and shopping, Robert came by and brought me lunch and some cheesecake and spent time with me for my b'day. After he left I got a message from my aunt Ann and uncle Damon in NC that my uncle Eddie's son died. I called my sister Leslie in Tucson to tell her about our cousin Scott passing away only to find that she and Mike were at the mortuary making plans in the event that Jenny passes away. Don't think I can take much more emotionally today.

Thank you, SAR. Yes, I think that being able to plan makes it a little easier to handle the passing of a loved one. We sure didn't get that chance with Ryan. I was just numb.
