I did all of that at the beginning of the year, SAR. It was so good to have health insurance again so I could take care of me. I'm glad to hear you finally took care of you.

Not sure but it sounds like we are all doing "catch up" and organizing. Hope CSue's fingers are getting a rest this week.
Had a crazy day last Wednesday. Got up and turned on the computer and it had reverted back to Windows 7 and I really couldn't use it for anything. Then was leaving for my eye appointment (laser to clean artificial lens) and my front door wouldn't close and lock. Then my car door wouldn't open due to the ice. Finally got it open and THEN the car wouldn't start, but did on the third try and I managed to make it to my appointment just barely on time. Maintenance fixed my front door that day and Randy fixed my computer the next night. Now working on moving things around here....
At least it's a little warmer this week.....
Hope you all have a GOOD week with many blessings.

Yes Sar, Billy will get unemployment. He was happy when he got home that day of my last post, they got laid off that day. So I had his lunch all made for the next day and he didn't need it. My fingers and wrist got better. My right wrist was worse of all. It would bind up like a knot in there and hurt so bad. Carpal tunnel perhaps. We had milder temperatures, and freezing and a little snow. We have the Christmas lights all up outside and my little tree on the deck. Not turning them on until the first of Dec. Fred loves to watch them come on, he runs to the living room and looks out the window when he sees me in the kitchen and reaching up to turn them on. PL, you had quite the day! You should be good for a long time now without any troubles. Sar, I haven't been to a doctor for over 35 years. Have a great day everyone.

Glad Billy can get unemployment, CSue. That will sure help.
That appointment I had week before last was for laser surgery on my left eye to clear the lens. My eye was fine until last Tuesday morning when I woke up with it hurting and red. Went right to the eye doc but she couldn't find anything wrong with it. It's been bothering me since and though it got better but over the weekend I started having pain and swelling under my cheekbone below it and the eye was still red. I went to urgent care this morning and the PA thought like I did that maybe it had to do with the molar up there that I had a root canal in around 10 years ago. She put me on an antibiotic, sent a referral to the dental center and I have an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday.
In the meantime, I found a smaller used computer desk, the kind I've been looking for, so Randy went with me to buy it Saturday and came back here and moved my computer to the living room. I wanted it moved so I wouldn't disturb the next door neighbor as you can hear easily through the bedroom wall. The lady threw in a nice computer chair with the desk so I can pitch the old bad chair finally.
Nice day today but and wind on the way. It will be snowy to the north and moving east so I wonder if some of you will get that.
Off to rest my eye. Hope you all are well.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my U.S. friends!!
PL, I hope your eye gets better soon!
We had snow this morning. It has stopped now but it's windy out. I don't like the wind.
I got all the gifts for my kids and grandkids wrapped and also for Billy's kids and grandkids. I just have to wrap the gifts I got for Billy. I'll probably do that after I get the tree up sometime in a couple weeks. We even got Fred a gift this year, a stocking for dogs with treats in it. Every time I go into the little room that we use for storage, Fred comes with me and sniffs around. He can smell his present and is trying to find it. lol
Enjoy your holiday and eat lots of good food!

Wow CSue, you are way ahead of things on the Christmas front! Good for you. Sorry that you have winter already, though.
Glad you are making progress, SAR. Plenty of time to put up Christmas decorations yet.
I went to see my primary physician yesterday. He agreed that the problem is actually an infection in the upper back molar that I had a root canal on some years ago and it's affecting my eye. The PA at urgent care put me on penicillin Monday but my doc doesn't feel that is strong enough for this type of infection and it hasn't improved much, so prescribed Augmentin, which I'll have to pick up tomorrow as the pharmacy closed yesterday before I could get to it.
Naturally both of my sons are working today so I'm home alone. I was considering going to the community Thanksgiving meal but not up to it and it's too late to request a meal to be delivered. Oh well, such is my life....
I hope the rest of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with those you care about.

So sorry about your fur baby, SAR. Dan is probably welcoming each one as they cross over.
I'm feeling better than I was a week ago (but infection is not gone yet) so getting a few things done around here. I've got a big crock pot full of homemade soup slow cooking for supper (and meals for a few days).
Randy got a new tv so he brought me his 52 inch. So huge after having a 32 inch! Wow. He even added speakers for better sound so it's almost like watching movies on the big screen!
Hope everyone's week is going smoothly.
