Happy New Year Sar and everyone else that stops by! We stayed home New Years Eve and didn't even think of trying to stay up until midnight. lol Billy got good news from his doctor. The results of his test showed that his is about back to normal! So he and I are very happy about that. It's a cold sunny day here today. We just got back from a drive. No reason to go, just wanted to get out for a drive and the gets so excited when he sees that we are getting ready. He just loves to go for drives. lol Wishing everyone a great year!

Such good news about Billy, CSue! I stayed up til midnight New Year's Eve but then partying neighbors were so loud I had to call police at 2 and 3 a.m. before it stopped. So glad Rosalee has a good home, SAR. Wish I could be there to give you hugs as you deal with the one year anniversary of Dan's passing. It was a blessing that he got to spend his last Christmas and yes, he would want you to go on and have a good life. Rainy and cold here today. The kind of day you'd like to stay under the covers and read or watch tv but I did get a bit of cleaning and reorganizing done this morning, though, so that feels good. The only bad news today is that I checked court records and the sicko with lewd behavior that lived next door to me in 2016/17 only got a fine and supervision for what he did here in front of children. There is another case pending against him for lewd behavior in the next county now. I wonder what it will take for him to be put away. Hope you are all well and having a good day!

that's just not right, PL.. he should have gotten a lot more I got all the trees down and put away.. took 3 days but it is done, I will rest a few days then tackle pulling papers up for Tax time I start early and go slow... Im also looking at small projects to get this place in shape. here is a cross post to Mrs. Peaveys...\ got lots dne before noon today, defleaed and wormed all the furkins...went outside and rakes abit of dried brush and roots, swept and mopped and took the last few things out to the shed.... stood outside looking to see small things I might still be able to tackle, just to make it easier to stay here... I keep looking but truley not found anything close to what I have here... also been talking to some contractors, / or handy men/... I could add an in law suit fairly easy.. so down the road, IF I stay here... might have a live in person to just assist me. (by then should just be ME and no animals) other then no shower on the main floor, this could be one floor living... and the way the back sun room is I could just extend the half bath and add a walk in (roll in) shower as the water both hot and cold are already there... so it is another option I am just thinking about. I know Heather wants me there, but they are all busy , an I'd have to change to no cats because of Steve and Kendra.... she already just wants me to sign over everything and just live in a sr. type home. one of those that is independant and /or assisted later on.. as Dan always said....I am no where NEAR there yet!.. I am extremely actively through all the pains I deal with and I do almost everything alone.. except for long distance driving.. so as I said I have a lot of options here. hope you all check in so we know what you are doing with the new yr! prayers for all

SAR, so many options and decisions! Sadly we are getting older and we have to think about such things. Still trying to unpack and organize little by little here. Progress is slow but it is progress. The boys got me a little radiant heater that looks like it has a flame in it for Christmas. Makes it cozy and warm in the living room so enjoying that. Hannah will be 15 Wednesday! Not sure how we will celebrate, but will figure out something. Not being able to drive at night when it gets dark early really puts a damper on things. Hope more stop by to tell what they've been doing lately.

I took Hannah out to eat right after school yesterday, came here and then Sarah and Wyatt came here to pick her up since it was getting too dark for me to drive. We all had a wonderful visit. The only downside was that it was "that time of the month" so Hannah wasn't quite up to par.
In the morning I got a chiro adjustment and then spent about 45 minutes in a meeting with detectives regarding Ryan's case, so sort of an eventful day. No, nothing new in the case lately, but since a reporter is trying to do a more in depth story, he was going to meet with them yesterday afternoon.
Wow, sounds like you are getting plenty of snow in Ohio, SAR and GG! Wonder if CSue is getting some too. our 2-3 inches already melted off but may get a little this weekend.
Today is Betty White's 97th birthday!

lol
I have appts coming tonight .. repeat clients....they wanted to come Sunday but in the event of bad weather it is better to not plan anything on Sunday!
besides the snow. they are saying the coldest air is coming down and will be sticking around.. I can deal with the snow I hate the brutal cold... I worry all the time about the kitties that are in out buildings or the barn.
must keep moving.. things to do ! lol

Happy belated birthday wishes to Hannah!
Ah Sar, the first anniversary is the worse. Then years go by and it still doesn't seem that long ago. Give yourself time, you'll know when it's time to move on. It was never move on for me for almost 5 years, then I decided that Gabby wouldn't want me to live like that either. You'll know when you are strong enough.
That big snowstorm is coming on Sunday for us. It sounds like a bad one, could be 2 feet of snow and high winds, blizzard like conditions. We are all prepared, lots of food, lots of gas for the generator. I'll get water out for drinking tomorrow and fill the bathtub with water for the bathroom. I got Billy lots of western movie DVDs for Christmas so if the snow puts the satellite dish out, he can watch those and I can run my internet modem and wifi off the generator and I got my crochet as well. It will probably be Monday afternoon before the storm is over. I'm so looking forward to spring and summer!
We've had some very cold weather lately too. PL, your new heater sounds wonderful!

Who is Heather?? Why would you sign over anything to her? Have a new will made up and leave your place to someone or have it sold. And, the money go to several people. And, maybe cat shelters. If you sign over every thing now. You have zero power over your life. Have a lawyer be power of attorney. Who would carry out your wishes. Not someone else's. Even if you have to go to a retirement center. They would make sure you got a good one. And, still have say over your care. Unless you cant. Still the lawyer can go by the wishes you have set up. And, have a person assigned to make sure you are being cared for properly. You know what you want your life to be like. And, you do what is best for you. Not someone else's agenda. Sorry, I have seen to much over the years. And, it is all about the money to most. Not what is best for their "loved one". Stay warm Sue!!

Hey LF well,, Heather is my daughter... and about 3 hrs from me.. so that is why.. she also works in the . g ov and with the aging and welfare people.. so she sees how they lose everything with one illness. if I get things out of my name there is all that stuff going on they now check 5 yrs back. I have not lost all my few marbles yet, so Im a long way from turnng anything over to anyone!
but thanks for thinking of me, plus I have ALL the information you sent me when Dan was sick and about how things work. ((hugs))
