We flip the calendar page again, to the last 2 months of 2018. In my area of Ohio we have had 4 days of none stop and the leaves are barely holding on, I sit by the window and watch them drifting down, or being blown from the winds. this Sat we turn the clocks back, Fall Back when you go to bed Sat. night I hope PL is moved and getting settled and hoping she gets her internet up soon. waving to our small group of ladies and will be re decorating when I can.

Oh, man, SAR, we only got a couple of inches. Hope you aren't flooded. Moving was rough. Last Saturday Randy had to be at work at 4:30 a.m. to set up for the Trump rally that afternoon at a local airport. He worked til almost noon and then came here to help me move. Rob spent most of the day here and a good friend was here all day as well. Randy and I moved most of the rest on Sunday and then I finished up and cleaned the old place and turned in keys on Monday. I was so tired and sore I could hardly walk but doing better now. Gradually unpacking and organizing and Randy came over last night and got my computer set up. At any rate, it's more peaceful here, my sinuses are clearing up, and I'm sleeping more! I have a nicer view out my back over here and it's quieter on this side. So glad I'm away from that situation. The only bad thing is that I can see the front of her apartment over across the parking lot from my front door and heard her yapping for half an hour today. She makes no effort to stop him from barking. When I had dogs I never allowed them to do that! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Thanks SAR. Still have a lot of unpacking and organizing to go but little by little I'm getting there. Rob is coming to help me move some things around tomorrow.
I just found out that there were over 10,000 people that showed up for the Trump rally here a week ago. Wow. This is a rural area, not near any cities.

The sun is playing peek a boo with the clouds and it is 50 degrees out for too wet for me to make a final mow and use up the gas in the mower and mulch up some leaves. the big maple out front is showing her golden crown and the leaves are drifting down like snow flakes. they say we'll have more wind this week so that will clean the rest of the leaves off the last few trees that always hang on till the very end. hope you all have a great week and please remember to vote. click to enlarge

Sorry I haven't been around, been working at the wreath shop. I'm still not much better at it. Sore hands, arms and shoulders come with the job but it will be over at the end of the month. We've had a lot of rainy days too. Had one snow day, the roads were horrible. Billy went to work, an hour drive, they couldn't work in the snow so he came home and it took him 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Lots of accidents that day. We had and high winds Saturday night, the power went out over most of the province. We got ours back early Monday morning. Farrah just got hers restored today. There are still a lot of people without power. Have a great evening everyone.

Hi All! Sorry I've been MIA. We went away a couple of weeks ago and since then I've still been trying to catch up on things. Mom & Dad are doing well which is good. Well, no snow here yet but tonight was cold! It was 38* but the wind made it feel sooo much colder. Still have quite a few leaves on the trees despite all of the wind and we've been getting. Poor DH and our neighbor can't keep up. Hope you are staying warm & dry Sue! Make sure you find time to eat between all of your cleaning sprees. It sure is looking nice in here from my laptop! Think I should change my avatar to the Autumn one. It's almost time for my Christmas poinsettia one That's my favorite one. I love poinsettias!!! I was very happy to see you have finally moved Plantlady! Too bad you still have to see her and hear her though. At least now you can have clean air to breathe! Concentrate on your back yard view and your new neighbors in that building. Hope you continue to sleep well. That should help you feel better in many ways! It's nice to hear from you CSue. I'm sure your wreaths are beautiful! Nature doesn't make things perfect so making things from it can't be perfect either. lol My Mom & Dad get one every year from my Aunt. I can appreciated it more knowing someone made it by hand. I'm ashamed to say I have artificial ones for my front doors and my shed. Glad Billy got home safe in the storm and all of you have the power back. I think there are still some in Maine without power for few weeks now! Well, think I'm gonna pack up this puter and head upstairs to rest. Hello to all others stopping in. Hope all of you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Always nice to open Inner Connections and see someone has stopped by to catch up! Glad you enjoyed your vacation, Kona, and so glad your parents are doing well. PL hope you are getting settled in and Billy is well on the road to full recovery GG, you will get it all done, just pace yourself.. yep, listen to me.. do as I say not asI do! lol well I got lots done yesterday but not enough today I hope to work in the sun room but we'll see. the leaves are pretty much gone but laying in my yard too wet to do anything. I still have to put the tractor into the barn but it is too cold to start the engine, I do not want to blow it with this cold. today is 11-11-11 day according to the numerologists.. a day to sit down make and intention/wish list I know top on my list will be good attitude and good health to deal with everything here alone. also to find a trustful handy person that is close by. Richard is wonderful but he is not close and holds a full time job and has his own "stuff".. all those willing to help have full jobs, families and their own parents to help.... anyway, love and prayers for all

Nice to see CSue and Kona stop by. Still trying to figure out how I want to organize this place and get things put away now that I've found most of them. With this frigid weather I really don't want to do much of anything! At least I don't have to deal with that annoying neighbor anymore and so far no one is in the duplex apt. next to me. We got about 3 inches of snow since last night. Rather unusual for November but the Farmers Almanac did say it would be a long cold winter with plenty of snow. Ugh. I need to get plastic on the windows and do other weather proofing. When Nettie lived here she just turned the heat up to 75-80 degrees all the time. I talked to her yesterday on the phone. She's sounding weaker but still sharp. I think she'll be 89 in May. Hope you find a good and reliable person to help with things that need to be fixed, SAR. I guess I'm lucky in that respect since housing takes care of repairs here. CSue, I hope you don't keep having those power outages this winter and hope you've got a good back up heating system. Well off to take a shower and get back to work. Hope everyone is having a GOOD day!
