Thank you, SAR, Plantlady and Kona. It was a pretty good day. There have been some bumpy roads over those years. Some storms are difficult to weather. When we married we said it was a 50 year commitment with option for renewal. LOL! And some days I think, "This isn't what I signed on for." He can be challenging. Saturday we were in the Jeep going for groceries. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't recall what it was and got very upset. He said some days he feels like a vegetable. So I am a little concerned about that. Does anyone know if President Trump has gotten that deal cleared about veterans being able to go to see their own doctors, not just VA?

I believe that is in the works, GG.. call your local VA and ask. but if he has Medicare go to a private dr for something this serious!

Hm. That's a bit of a problem. Our family doctor retired in November. I have yet to find another. But I guess I need to take my head out of the sand, stop procrastinating and just do it ... kinda like Nike, huh?

I just say that because Dan went to VA for 6 yrs blood draws and exams every 6 months and NOT ONCE did they see Cancer. he had a chronic cancer and a rare cancer and lung cancer.. and Parkinson's.. they told me he had demenia and Alzheimer's. if you have medicare and a supplemental.. go to a Neurological dr. it might be easu and he needs more Vot b 12 ... (that can mimic dementia
