Ugh, sick of the heat and humidity and it's not even officially summer yet! Taking my car in tomorrow to fix the A/C before it gets worse. Friday having lunch with Sarah and the kids for Sarah's b'day. SAR, my leg got back to what is "normal" for it by the next day. I'm going to try not to let that happen again! Sending good wishes to all today.

Well, been closing up loose end, I called the domain and web hosting place and deleted all Dan;s accts for his businesses... hard, but done! the young man was so nice and understanding....and then we spoke a few minutes just a real nice kid.
I still have my website on fat cow. I so highly recommend to anyone! if there is any issue, or problem, an english speaking agent is right there to help. no waiting...no pushing 10 buttons to get to tech.
(mine is icangels.net) and I have about 20 pages and it need to be updated maybe later this yr when I am not so overwhelmed with things.
today I have everything off the front porch, the reek of cats from stray ferals spraying my house is horrible, so I am scrubbing and spraying with enzme cleanings things....then I hate to do it, but will sprinkle cayenne pepper spice so they stay away!
yesterday I had to leave and banged on the car, but a few dumb ones went to heaven yesterday...:( I did all I could do to keep them safe, but some time as Dan says.. you cant save them all......
hope you all have a great day and week-end.

Wow, everyone has been so busy! I hope you get help with the cats, Sar. So Ed never worked out?
I was done work at the camps the week before. I didn't get as much work as I usually do. They didn't have as many hunters this year and some that were booked cancelled. But they got a lot of bookings for fall bear season so I'll get 2 weeks then, then I'll go back to the wreath shop to give it another try and hope that I can make them faster.
Billy has been getting more work done to the house, so things have been hectic here. I have to put Fred in the pen when they run the saws, he doesn't like anything that makes a noise and will try to attack them.
The guys are working in the basement today. It's a half basement, 4 ft high. They are insulating the walls. They went under there last Friday to check it out and see what needs to be done and Fred didn't want to let them back out. He sat by the door and wouldn't move, they even pushed him away and he'd come right back. lol I didn't know what was going on, I heard them saying "Get, Fred! Get!" lol
We have steel roofing ordered and it should be here on Thursday. If it is, the guys won't be putting it on as the it's going to be a very hot day.
I hope everyone is well and having a great day!

Hi CSue glad you are done for now... I am washing clothes as it is to be so hot later this week and I want all things done so I can just sit inside and chill....
we have a steel roof, and it is really nice.. you will love it. glad to hear Billy is doing weell!
Ed is still coming but has to call me.. when I did not hear from him I figured he forgot, but he was in hospital, his dad is close to passing so I understand... he sent me an estimate and I will hire him but he'll call me when things ease for him... his dad has dialysis, his mom has Dementia and he cares for them both, plus works, plus handyman for extra and has a radio program... busy man!
well I buried another feral cat., there is virus going through the wide kitties, and today I buried a mama that was half tame so I could get her a loving hme, she was so pretty.... she had babies 3 weeks ago, and this morning they were on her body...and I had to get them into a box and decide what to do.. while I buried her, another feral (her sister) was in the box so she will either kill them or adopt them ..I slowly walked away and will check later.... in the mean time, mine were out in the fenced cat yard.....and I heard something going on, I went and one of the wild ferals was inside and my guys had it cornered... I yelled and chased it, well, it has the virus, was falling all over... so mine have been exposed. sigh.
I have prayed for God to send me help or a solution... that I could live with.... well... if this shows up in one of mine, I will have them all euthanized. this is a horrible virus, and if one has it, they will all have to go. I cried all morning, but at the same time, I know God is in control....sometimes life sux so bad... but it is the blessings that get us through..
I know you have a rough day coming up, CSue... and it will be my 65th b day.... I was going to do something, but my friend called ma and she and another friend said YOU are not having this party! we are having it FOR YOU! so you do not have to do a thing. how sweet they are. Details to be arranged.
I hope everyone else will pop in , here we are at the end of June already!
have a great day.

My goodness SAR and CSue, you've had a lot going on! SAR, so sorry to hear about the fur babies that have gone over the rainbow. CSue, that sure sounds like a low basement. Had a nice lunch with Sarah and the kids Friday. Wyatt as usual had "ants in his pants". LOL Storms moved through a little while ago. Made laundry detergent, did some laundry, dishes, dehydrated basil I picked yesterday, and a few other things. Randy did a news story at a local orchard yesterday and came by after work with a box of fresh peaches for me. Going to make a peach smoothie after while and probably cut up and freeze most of them. The other day one of my neighbors got a bunch of onions and sweet potatoes so "made" me take some of them so I might take a few peaches over there. Next up is Randy's birthday Monday. It's going to be so hot but I'm still going to try to make him his favorite cake....German chocolate. Hope things are calmer for you today, SAR. to all who stop by.

Hoping everyone is keeping cool in this heat, especially you, SAR! I made a quick trip to the store early yesterday but stayed in today. We had really severe storms Thursday night, the 28th. Lots of trees and branches down, some buildings damaged and at least 60,000 lost power, me included. Mine was off for 9 hours during the night but thankfully it cooled off enough after the storm so that I could get some outside air. Some I know are still without power today and are having to stay elsewhere because it's so hot and humid. Just a few branches down here and my trash can got blown over, blocking my back door so my neighborhood was lucky. Gave some of my peaches to neighbors and froze some to cook with later. Going to the show with the boys and then out to eat tomorrow for Randy's birthday Monday (both boys working that day). Getting ready to bake him a German chocolate cake. and for all.
