Home made soup sounds good, PL, and I had one of those collapsible hose, yep, great concept, only used it 2 times and the brass fittings flew off...
washed the bed linens and line dried this am, and then mowed for the first time this season, so thankful the tractor started.. it is 18 yrts old and working on my prayers! lol,
then I showered and was going to lay down but Fran popped in so we had dinner (I just fixed left overs) and coffee... I'm checking boards then I am off to bed... we are to get storms .. 2 rounds one over night then tomorrow evening in the severe range.

Ugh, SAR, I was hoping my hose would at least last the season! I haven't hooked it up yet but crossing my fingers.

it might last you, I have very high water pressure here, I think that's why my hoses break, I shut off water if I am not using the hose!
right now it is 74, windy, humid and we're under severe wind and storm and tornado watch, I was going to run errands...not today!!!!

Contractors coming on a Sunday, SAR? Interesting. It's a little cooler today (about 56 right now) but they are FINALLY mowing today. The grass and weeds here are 8 to 12 inches tall! I sure hope they do a better job than the guys they had last year.
Had more intensive physical therapy on my legs Thursday. Seems like it helped a little, but I still have quite a bit of pain off and on. Driving me crazy having so much trouble walking as it's hard to get much done.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Contractor coming in the morning for just an hr, the reason he comes on Sunday he and his wife co parent ..she works from home but has to be on call so they take turns on the days .. come summer they get a full time sitter then next fall both kids will be in school.... so I am working with his scheldule. kind of gives me a break, but none of us like to give up our week ends.. good thing is the main floor is almost done.
today I worked in 2 flower beds,...mowed, and worked on the wall paper pulling. the bath could be done if there was no wall paper and I could finish painting and pull the room together.
hope csue had a great week end... and we are on a roller coaster 70's then 40's with frost warnings I have been covering my blooming azaleas.

Sar, it makes me tired just reading about all you've been doing!
The snow is gone here and it's getting warmer but that wind still comes around and makes it seem colder. I'm still walking Fred as much as possible. I started a little outside yard work. I need to get the gardens ready, but can't plant until early June though. I started an exercise routine, I hope I keep it up. lol
I didn't watch the eclipse, just sat in my comfy chair and watched it get dark, then it quickly lightened up. Fred fell asleep, he woke up when it was completely dark, then started barking when it got light out again. He must of been wondering was going on.
Have a great day everyone.

SAR, I doubt that after all you do that you even NEED to do much toning! You get exercise by WORKING! CSue, no doubt Fred helps keep you fit!
Got home a little while ago from getting PT, visiting a store for a few groceries and stopping by a hardware store selling plants. Couldn't resist buying some of them but it was hard holding them, an umbrella and using a cane. It's supposed to all day today so it's a good day for a and I'm headed to the recliner very shortly.... Hope you all are having a great day!

PL wish you lived close you could come and grab all kinds of herbals is headed here. My lawn mower is not starting I have a hay field! well today I took 3 appts.. and I think they were well pleased, asked if I will take more appts... I said Im working in a scheldule were I will do it 2 days a week and only 6 so I don;t burn out! plus some want me to start with classes again... so I may.. I am feeling good about today, everyone had someone they wanted to connect with come through.... before they even asked me, I wish I could do it at will, but I can only do it when "they" come with a message. my tummy was growling and bless my last appt, she brought me a plate of chicken something... had cheese, spinach, penne alfrado sause with big chunks of chicken... mmmmm hit the spot! so I'm just now getting on line and trying to get things done so I can rest tonight. we are in for a beautiful week of warm weather.. I saw a hummer, an oriole and a gold finch today all 3 weeks early, my wisteria in full bloom and everyone loved it. one of the appts, didn;t know I was a widow,. she said she felt a strong male presence as she sat on the porch and he said, she needs help... (she took it to mean, help with the flower beds, and help with my inner growth... when she saw the pic of me and dan she said OMG that was the man talking to me in my head! so Dan, again was letting me know he was here watching out for me!) but I knew that! I gave several herbs to the last appt she want to have her owe apothecary. I had a great day!! have a lovely evening, ladies!

Didn't know you had started taking appointments again, SAR. How interesting that that woman heard Dan talking to her! Hope you can get help with your mower soon! Nice of that one of your appointments brought you that chicken dish, but I'm sure she didn't know that spinach is high in oxalates and you are prone to stones! I love spinach but have to either avoid it or pick it out of dishes.
Yep, would love to get herbals from you if we lived close. Since I have to grow them in containers, I have trouble keeping the perennials alive through the winter. And for some reason, my peppermint that usually survives the winter didn't this time so I have to start all over with it. I do have one neighbor that grows some also, so we share.
