It was almost 60 here today and will be mostly in the 50's for the next several days. That doesn't bother me a bit! And we even got to see the sun!
SAR, have you been to a doctor to determine if it is actually strep or a viral infection? Got any fresh garlic to put on your food? I sure hope you get this thing licked soon! Besides garlic, some of the things I have used in the past (and continue to use) are Vitamin C, D3, olive leaf extract, probiotics, echinacea, astragalus, oregano oil, fresh lemon water, hot peppermint , fresh fruits, raw honey, and turmeric. Prior to getting covid in Feb. 2020 (while still dealing with the root canal abscess), I had not had any kind of respiratory illness in 10 years back when I was under enormous stress and grief (got H1N1) and I haven't had one since the covid as I use varying combinations of the above foods and supplements on a regular basis. In your case I suspect that you push yourself too hard and don't get enough . Gotta take care of yourself!
Detectives are planning to go to northern IL Monday to interview one of the suspects in Ryan's murder. He's been in the mental/behavior section of prisons since at least 2007 and has apparently improved recently so they are finally able to talk to him. He's due for possible release this summer, which is concerning since he has been so violent. He's in in prison for stabbing his girlfriend multiple times in the chest but they found him not competent to stand trial. I'm not expecting that he will confess, and he may not even remember that night, but I for a miracle anyway.

Wow, just had a loud ear tone in my left ear (which is facing west) ON TOP of my tinnitus. Just checked and there was just a small quake in Oklahoma, on top of a larger one earlier. Wonder if there are more coming.
Hoping you are feeling better this morning, SAR.

PL I have all the above, I am well versed, but thank you, and others might need a refresher course..
I so hope this guy can give them some answers or something, I can not imagine not ever knowing, but you have to be resigned to maybe NEVER knowing.. but I think you will get closure.
my ears were popping yesterday, then I saw the EQ notice on line.... I still get EQ tones.... but right now ears, and sinues so plugged I can say what's what. I keep trying the neti pot, but am so blocked the water can't get to upper sinues, I just know I will feel better! and when I blow my nose my ears pop, and sound like water moving around, it's horrible.... the PA I talked with says it sounds move like a bad sinuses infection that is finally breaking up from the antibiotics.
its 40 and sunny I have cats outside for a bit. we're to have decent sun for about 5 days.
enjoy your week-end everyone!

Been sending prayers. Sure wish some of us were close by so we could help and look out for in person. Thank God you have some good friends there though!
Everyone I know that’s had kidney stones says it’s the worst thing they have ever experienced!
Glad you are starting to finally feel better. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Keep it up.

Glad to hear that you are doing better, SAR. No doubt you are more tired than usual as your body continues to heal. It's supposed to be about 67 tomorrow before it starts cooling off a little so hope I am up to working outside a little. Wishing everyone a good weekend ahead!

Glad you are doing better, SAR. Kona, glad you stopped by!
Decent weather here. Now if I just had the energy to take advantage of it! I get to stay home today so doing some little chores and organizing. Trying not to spend too much time on the computer as it's aggravating my neck/shoulder/upper back issues.
Hoping you are all having a peaceful and productive week.

So the new floors start this week? Great! Online class? I am curious about this. What are you learning? I am doing a couple of things as we head to Easter. I am reading one chapter of Exodus a day. And I am taking a class at Hillsdale College Online re: Exodus. I hope all is well with everyone. Busy here, too. And rarely online. I'm reading a lot. Writing as much as I can. And Sadie is starting to calm down SOME. I sure love that puppy. She was six months old on Valentine's Day. We are scheduling her to be spayed. They can do it laser, now. I'm wondering about having her microchipped. Maybe going to do that in case she goes missing.
The sun is shining full here and the sky is blue. But it surely was cold first thing this morning ... 16 felt like 5! I'm not really complaining. We haven't really had a lot of winter weather this year so I can handle a few cold days.

Hope they got your floors done, SAR. GG, glad Sadie is calming down a little.
I've been dealing with severe knee and ACL pain and finally figured out why. I went to the grand opening of a Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Store here earlier this month. They had the handicap spots covered up with booths and excessively LOUD music, so I had to park in a regular parking spot. When I came out, someone had parked within a few inches of my car door so I couldn't get in. I had to climb in from the passenger side and pulled muscles in my arms and my bad leg. It got to the point where I couldn't even get off the toilet without my left knee feeling like it was being stabbed with a knife. Thankfully someone gave me a cane last year. Randy took me to a walk-in clinic Saturday and then took me to the hospital for an xray but of course xray don't show muscle and ligament damage. I've been doing heat, ice, massage, and stretching on it and it's improved to some degree. The chiro had me do laser therapy on it today as well. Very frustrating as I have so much I need to do.
It got up to 73 degrees here today, a record high for this date.
