Oh no SAR, it can't possibly be due to your age. Finally got our Christmas packages to one of my sisters sent off yesterday. She's always been a big Beatles fan, so when my oldest happened to run across a Beatles book, a George Harrison CD and a Beatles Revolver CD, he grabbed them up to send to her. I found a Beatles calendar, got her and her husband (the one with ALS) neck heating pads as they both have neck problems and added in some of the herbs I dehydrated as she loves to cook. She's been sending me boxes of stuff the last few years so I got the jump on her this time! I told her last month NOT to send me anything for Christmas because she is overwhelmed dealing with her husband's illness and I don't need anything, so she'll be shocked to get this stuff. GG, I hope Sadie is behaving and not bothering your Christmas stuff. On the plus side, she will be older next Christmas and should leave it alone.
PT is already helping my neck, back and shoulder. I think I'm gradually healing my stomach but have an endoscopy scheduled for Jan. 2 just in case.
Hope everyone is having a good week!

lol PL... wow, how great you got all the beatle stuff to surprise her with today I finished up the last of 15 lbs of pulled pork, cooked 5 lbs a day and packed and froze, and I did the last batch of butter and applebutter, still need to make up pain easeing lotions and coffees and then to work on gathering stuff I put all over the place in cat safe areas, and get them wrapped and under the tree in the locked den.. they can't get in here... so it was 45 and sunny today but because I stood over a hot stove for 8 hrs I am freezing in this back room now.. lol! hope everyone has a great restful evening.

I can hardly believe that little girl will be 16!!! They grow up so fast!
We are just about finished with our shopping. Then the wrapping. We are baking here on Saturday. I asked for requests because I'm not baking like I always have. Everyone is avoiding sugar. I sure don't need to eat all of that stuff.
And 2023 is almost in the history books! This year surely passed quickly!

Oh, no! I was just thinking about Mary. I haven't talked to her in awhile. But I'm not online much these days. I am so sorry to hear about this. But thanks for letting me know.
Sadie seems not to be much interested in the Christmas tree. It doesn't move or make noise. ROFLMBO!

You are so busy!!! Breathe, girlfriend
I don't know if I will make it. A problem has developed with my Jeep. The electronic parking brake has locked and won't unlock. I can't move my Jeep! I called the Dodge garage. The guy wasn't very helpful. If I can't drive it to them, have it towed. He said he can't fix it over the phone, and though "I can guess what's wrong" but I'm not telling you was essentially what he said. The DH found a friend who can take it on his trailer if we can get it to move. Well, if I could get it to move, I wouldn't need it hauled. I could just drive it to the dealership. It may be as simple as a fuse or sensor. Or even a computer update. My Jeep is first generation Renegade. Another friend is concerned that the Jeep's safety system is electronic. What would happen if I was driving down the road and the parking brake kicked in?
So, anyway, there isn't much we can do until at least Tuesday. And that has put a crimp in my plans for the week. I won't have Ayden. Well, I guess it will be a good opportunity to do things like clean windows, wash drapes and curtains, mop floors ...

Oh GG, what a time for that to happen with your jeep! I did a web search and it seems that it can be caused by a number of factors, some simple, some not so simple. Hope you can get it taken care of quickly!
SAR, hope you have an enjoyable day at Tom's today.
Since we did our little gathering yesterday, today will probably be a quiet day for me except for phone calls, which gives me a day to chill and maybe get a few little things done.
to everyone who stops by and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I've been forgetting to come here. I've been worried about my cousin Brenda. She had her gall bladder out last month. She did manage to get over to see me after. Her daughter came with her. She had a rough go in the hospital, it seems when they found out she didn't get the covid jab they became mean. Then she went to a nurse practitioner who gave her prescriptions for 2 types of high blood pressure medicine. Called her several days later and told her to stop taking one, it could damage her kidneys, which it did. They were slowly improving but just today she fell and hit her head hard, her daughter called the ambulance. They had to shock her twice to get her going, now they are taking her in for a CT scan on her brain. I'm so worried about her, prayers please. Other than that, things are normal here. Farrah and granddaughter Piper stayed all night on Saturday. We had a great time. It's a green Christmas this year. Seems strange no snow and milder temperatures but I love it! It was horrible last week with heavy and high winds that knocked the power out for most of the province. I got mine back after 48 hours. I have the generator and that got me through but so nice to have the power back. A lot of people just got theirs back yesterday. Enjoy the holidays!

Thanks Sar! Her daughter said the doctor and nurse told the family to start thinking about her wishes as she may not make it because of the lack of oxygen to her brain. But her daughter says she will open her eyes when asked to, and she asked her to move her foot and she moved her big toe. I'm not giving up her so soon and the family aren't either.
Still no snow here but expecting some on Saturday. I liked not having snow plowing bills, but it's winter and will be expected.
Have a great day everyone.
