I thought I'd get this month changed over cause the way I am scattered, I will forget tomorrow.! lol Sat and Sun and Monday, I have had all kinds of things going on at once.... but the major thing is I got my counters refinished using Vinyl rigid core flooring. water proof and I love it. I am taking a break, and it is like 14 degrees thou the sun is finally shining. then I will keep working in the kitchen toward my update! still want to paint cabinets and then put in new flooring on the floor. then I will work on appliances. mine are all 20 to 30 yrs old, so it will need done sooner or later.! might have to click to enlarge

You sure keep busy with so many projects, SAR. Upgrades and improvements always make us feel better, don't they? It looks nice.
GG, I haven't had Netflix in a couple of years and watched all the seasons of NCIS they had available at that time. Now I get back to back episodes on an over the air channel (Ion) so have seen some of the newer episodes with Gary Cole. I actually liked Night Sky. Hoping they make another season. A very different kind of sci-fi! Never seen Outlander but it sounds interesting. I don't usually watch that many actual movies lately. Mostly I have over the air channels or Youtube running while I'm on the computer or in the kitchen.
Everything is slick with sleet/ice here and we won't get warm enough for it to start melting until tomorrow. Both of my boys had to go to work today! :( Main roads are pretty clear but back roads, streets and parking lots are really bad. All area schools are closed.
Time for my . Hope everyone is doing well today!

Good morning!
SAR, I really like the marble look of your new countertops. I wish I had your energy for home remodel.
Plant Lady, Night Sky caught my interest immediately, but sometimes it seems like they lost track of where they were going with it. I did finish watching the first season and I do like Sissy Spacek (Did I spell that right?) I will watch it if they do another season. I also watch Virgin River. I loved the first season or two. Then it became a soap opera. I feel the same way about Sweet Magnolias. But that's just me.
It was 8 degrees when I went outside this morning. BRRRRRR. But the sun has warmed the enclosed porch and I think I will be sitting there bathing in the sunshine before very long. I love to sit out there.
Have a wonderful day, friends.

Yes, Sar I am thinking and praying for you too because of that derailment. Sunny day here today and not too cold. I took my , Fred for a walk for the first time in over a month. It's been so icy before but after the last snowfall the ice is covered. There was a bare strip of pavement on the road but icy on the sides so I wore my cleats. It's going to be much warmer on Thursday and then on Friday. I just hope it doesn't turn to ice again. Sar, your countertops look lovely. I need to declutter here but I just can't seem to get motivated to do it. Maybe I will next summer. We are on the downside of winter anyway. I can't wait to walk out the door without a coat, boots and mittens! Have a great week everyone.

CSue, it is nice here today....in the 60's with sunshine but will be raining and maybe even storming tomorrow. I'll bet Fred can't wait for the nicer weather either!
Been wanting to get outside but having trouble with my phone and internet and they asked me to keep my line open so mostly staying inside. :( Can't make or receive calls on my cell phone either and I'm about to tear my hair out trying to fix it. Sent a message to my oldest for help but no telling when he'll see it.
I hope SAR is okay as she hasn't posted here in 2 weeks.

I'm ok, keeping a wide eye on this trail situation. today on channel 8 at 6 pm... they had a guy on and he bought the farm I almost bought last spring! the stream has all dead fish and game, he has no wildlife and he is 2 miles north of the train wreck. and yes I DO believe that the 200 mile radius is likely true,. most of the wind is from west to east but the wind came this way the day of the burn... also, they are saying the real true numbers will not be for months cause of the way this struff sinks into the ground and we have NOT had much here to wash it into the ground... today was beautiful 70 degrees but windy, so for the last 2 days I washed all linens and hung out... the wind was from the west.. I am very aware of wind direction, especially now!. my just hurts for them all and those with farm animals... or no family to shelter at....

Hi all. Glad you’re ok Sue! Hope all of your family and Ohio friends are/will be too. I looked it up on the map when I first heard about it. It looked pretty far away from you. Praying that any danger won’t spread close by.
I also read here but hardly post. It’s difficult on my phone. I’m not fast at texting at all and sometimes the talk to text is more work!
Take care all. You’re always close in my thoughts and prayers!
ETA: Your countertops look nice!

I'm glad you are Ok, Sar. It's hard to say what damage is yet to come from those burning chemicals. It could possibly even reach into eastern Canada by the jetstream. Some people in southern Ontario are saying they can smell it. It breaks my that so many fish and animals have died. It's nice here today, 10C which is about 50F. Sunny and the snow is melting. But there's another snowstorm coming tomorrow. Oh well, we are on the downside of winte, that's what I keep telling myself. Have a great weekend everyone.
