CSue lost her long time companion, Billy last night. this is so hard to write as I know she has gone through this once already.
I am thankful that she had the time with Billy as he made her smile again....
Sue, anything you need if we can do it, you know we will.

Remember the good times, with Billy. I am sorry he had to leave. But, he will be watching over you from Heaven.
Please, take care of yourself, during this time...

Thank you all. It's still a shock and our poor Fred still waits for him to come home. He doesn't understand but knows something isn't right. He hadn't been well and had to quit working. We were looking at the side effects of the new medication he was given lost spring and he had most of them, shortness of breath, suppressed appetite, weak legs and arms, fatigue. He got his long time friend to take him to the hospital and had to sit in the waiting room for 9 hours before being seen. The ER doctor confirmed the side effects and told him not to take them anymore and he would start feeling better. By Tuesday he still wasn't feeling better so he called his doctor. He wasn't in but his receptionist got hold of him and he said for Billy to go to the hospital by ambulance. They got him into a room quite quickly. The last phone call he made to me was at 10 that night. He sounded great. The next day his daughter called me from work and said the doctor called her and he had taken a turn for the worse. We all went to the hospital but only 1 could see him at a time. It was hard to understand him at times but he told me he had a hard time last night. He got worse later and was taken to ICU where he died shortly after. His family has been great to me. Together myself, his daughter and son, his sister and even his ex wife made the arrangements. His ex wife even apologized to me for all the nasty things she had said to me in the beginning. Billy didn't want a visitation or funeral. But his daughter and son want a celebration of life for him which will be at the local Lions Club here next Sunday. He wanted cremated and buried in his plot beside his parents. The ashes wouldn't of been ready for burial last Sunday so we had to reschedule for this Sunday. Fred is going with me to the burial and celebration of life. I will leave him in the truck outside the Lions Club though, and put the windows down some and keep going out to check on him. He'll have a lot of people going out to see him. Billy told me a few months ago if anything happens to him to look after his , so I wherever I go, when possible, Fred will be going with me. I could never go through this again so from now on it's just Fred and me.

Sue, I am just seeing this. I so understand you not wanting to ever go through this again... and I;m scared all the time about Rick, he had a attack, he has diabetes, he is not prudent with his health and I just can;t even go there. I also understand about Fred, I promised Dan about the kitties, how I wish I didn;t sometimes.... but what else would one do? I know he trusted me to see to his kitties and I will as you will with Fred..... know you are on my and in my prayers every single day! hugs
