Oh PL, so sorry to hear about your sister. Sending prayers for her and your neighbor.
Sunny, hot day here. I've got to go to the store, check the mail, etc. Fred won't get in the truck with me anymore. Maybe he's afraid of my driving. lol I have to put him in the pen. He will get in the "buggy" though. The buggy is a Trail Blazer that we use on the dirt roads to the camps and through the woods to Billy's Mom's place. Fred just loves that.
I have the solution to Fred being such a pest when I do housecleaning. He bites the broom, the mop, the duster, etc. Billy got bug spray for dogs awhile ago. I put it on him once and he sat there and let me. A few days later I was going out to work in the garden and thought I should put bug spray on Fred again. He ran from me. I chased him around the living room, then gave up. He doesn't like the bug spray! So I have that sitting close by when I'm house cleaning and I tell him I'll put bug spray on him if he bites the broom, etc. Now he stays back and doesn't attack brooms, mops, dusters. lol
Sar, the ads aren't bad at all on here. I don't think you need ad free. Just my opinion.
I hope everyone's day is going great.

No new news on my sister Donna this morning so far. More test results coming today or Monday. When I talked to my sister Laura at the hospital yesterday, I had Laura hold her phone up to Donna's ear so I could at least tell her I loved her. Not likely it registered in her brain, but one can hope.... Donna is unresponsive but not in a coma, and still has small movements now and then. One of my nephews and his wife is headed down from Phoenix to Tucson today to say their goodbyes to her.

SAR, I hope you are getting your computer problems fixed! Cooled off a little here so at least the nights are below 70 degrees. My neighbor Nettie is now in a nursing home/rehab center. My former next door neighbor Liz is there too, so they get to visit. Whether she will be able to come back to her apartment will depend on how well she heals, but her family thinks she shouldn't be by herself anymore because of her and balance issues. The prognosis on my sister is definitely not good. They gave her steroids to reduce the inflammation in her brain and it caused her to be awake and partially able to communicate a little, but the doctor says if they give her more it will damage her more. She's been crying when she sees my other sisters and expressed pain a couple of times so there is something left of her, but her body is stiffening and she can't control it. It's so heartbreaking seeing her suffer and slowly slipping away. Found out my oldest son will be covering the Ozzy Osborn concert Aug. 21 during the solar eclipse for the tv station he works at. That should be interesting!
