I fed kittens and something got into my water garden and drug my pump across the porch...still plugged in and took my hose to make the water fall....strange!

That's very weird about something dragging your pump, Sar! I hope it wasn't a bear that is hanging around.
Thinking about you today, PL, on the 12th anniversary of Ryan's senseless death.
Warm here again today. I have a tomato that is starting to ripen!
The guys finished putting our steel roofing on yesterday. They did a good job.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi, Everyone. It is late and I will go toddling off to bed shortly. But I wanted to say hi first. I'm not around much. Seems like there isn't a minute I can really call my own. That's my fault, too. LOL! Have a good Sunday. I don't babysit this one, but there still are so many things on my to-do list.

Thanks CSue and SAR. Yesterday was certainly a "blue" day for me, but so thankful for the support of so many friends. I got an email from the head detective Friday but we didn't do any media publicity this time. Strange about your hose, SAR! Hmm... Yum on the tomato, CSue. I only have two plants but they are sort of stuck in shade so not sure I'll get much in the way of tomatoes this year. So glad your roof is done! GG, there are never enough hours in the day, are there???? Chillin' today as it's muggy with more chances of today but things I need to do are "staring" at me so guess I'd better see if I can get some of them done before they drive me crazy. Hope you're all having a good Sunday.

I imagine everyone is busy with midsummer stuff. Not too much going on here. Mostly staying inside in the a/c because of the excessive heat and humidity. It's a little better this weekend, though. I went and spent a couple of hours with my 84 year old friend Phyllis in the ICU yesterday. She's been having a tough time since having a triple bypass on the 11th. Not sure exactly when she had the attack before that as she doesn't even remember the ambulance that rushed her to the hospital. She was glad to see me and I think I helped her a little by making her understand that she has to let go of all that anger she has so her can heal. They want her to get up and walk a little but between being so weak and tired and still in pain from a broken foot that hasn't completely healed, it's really tough for her. Please keep her in your After I visited her I made a quick trip to the food coop and then grabbed a hamburger from Steak n Shake on the way home as I was getting tired. Well, wouldn't you know it, now I have cramping and diarrhea again. Grrrr..... It's getting to the point where I am afraid to eat anywhere other than home. Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the weekend.

((hugs)) PL, I will be praying for your friend Phyllis to release the anger and that she be healed according to His Will.
I am sorry about your tummy but I am exactly the same, I do not like to go anywhere to eat anymore, unless it is friends.. as I end up with 2 days of bathroom prison or just plain sick to my stomache.. so there's that... I have been eating lots of fresh veggies and things from markets, and I soak everything in vinegar water before I prepare and that does seem to help.
hope CSue and Billy are doing ok in this heat and humidity... and that he is recoverying just fine.
I know GG has lots on her plate, too.. I miss when I don;t get to every forum but some days I just CAN't with all the other things going on!.
I can;t remember when Jules 777 B days is.. I don;t want to miss having a special day for her.
waving to all that do find time to pop in!
(((hugs)))
have a great Sunday

Prayers for your friend, PL. It's been busy here too. The new windows that Billy ordered came last Wednesday and the guys put them in on Thursday and finished up with the window sills and trim, and a few other things Billy wanted them to do on Friday. Then I went to the hardware store and got paint and painted the sills and trim. I'm glad I got that all done in one late afternoon into the evening. We are in another heat , there's been warnings issued by the weather stations. The lawn needs mowed again! But I just can't do it in that heat. It's probably too hot to be growing much more anyway. It doesn't look any better for next week either, but I hope it cools down some. The heat is hard on Billy with his condition. We went to one of my nephew's graduation party on Saturday and didn't stay very long, there was no a/c in the building. At least he has a/c in his front end loader, vehicle and here at home. I hope you feel better, PL! Stay cool everyone and enjoy your day.

Goodness it's quiet here. Weather is actually nice for a few days. Too bad I'm still not feeling well since last Saturday from the food poisoning. I talked to Phyllis two days ago as they were getting ready to take her to a rehab facility but haven't heard from her since so don't know what is going on with her. Wish I'd get better faster so I could go see her. CSue, so glad you getting those things done so Billy will be more comfortable. SAR, as usual I hope you are not overdoing! <3 Please for Sarah. She told me this morning that she is leaving her husband and taking the kids. I'm glad that Hannah and Wyatt will be taken out of that situation as it's harmful to both of them. He is alcoholic and increasingly abusive. I have seen the way he treated Hannah a couple of times and to say the least, I was very upset. Hope most of you are getting a break from the heatwave. Praying for those in California and elsewhere who are dealing with the horrific wildfires.

I am wanting a male companion about now, just to be a handyman! lol just joking about the companion. but I will go broke paying for all that needs done. got to stop for a quick minute to see GG, and my half sister. got to lay down soon my head is splitting in 2!. waving to all!

Hi, All. I'm sorry to be so quiet here. I'm not online much. There just aren't enough hours in a day. And the 2-1/2-year-old is very active. We are buds, but I am becoming an old woman and it's not so easy to chase after a child when you aren't 30 anymore. LOL! I think this one has decided naps are not necessary ... until about 6 p.m. Sorry, too late for a nap at 6 if you're going to bed at 8:30. LOL!
There is a break in the heat and humidity. I spend a lot of time with the AC but I also like to be outside as much as I can. I start my day on the patio journaling and having breakfast and reading. If I'm up at 6 I'm on the patio by 6:10 or so. If I'm up at 7, same thing. And I stay there until 11:30 or so. I know. Chores don't get done that way, but it's just so nice, so peaceful on that patio!
So, have a great day. I will be around again. :D
