As we turn the calender yet again,, everything is 3 to 4 yrs early this Spring. my Wisteria is in full bloom and it stunning in real life, and my lilacs usually bloom around mothers day and I have full bouquets all through my house. there is still things to finish in the main level, but I am already seeing it is easier to swiffer through and damp mop and straighten up counters. I have a lot yet to do but it ias stuff that takes time, painting, decorating donating.,... I've been having horrible dreams of my friends leaving me or dying.... some have been quite tramatic... not sure what that's all about.! Nathan texted one part came for the tractor he is waiting for the other 2 parts... I sure hope I can mow soon! click to enlarge, sharing my wisteria have a great day, everyone!

I've had a whirl week week, 2 days taking appts, 2 days having Nathan here, one day Tom came and worked cleaning up in my barn.... and one day the neighbor came to mow the front cause my tractor is looking more and more like It will never run again... :( so looks like besides everything, I will now have to buy a lawn tractor.
I want to go hear my favorite band tonight, but not sure with the weather, with feeling so tired and not sure anyone wants to go.. but I think I need a few hrs to get out!
stay safe this week end everyone!

=Your azaleas are gorgeous, SAR! So sorry to hear about your mower. Replacing it will no doubt be a big expense. I think I read that you did make it out last night and had a good time.
I had two PT sessions this week, lunch with Rob on Thursday and on Friday my 40 year-old toilet went kaput in the tank. The maintenance guy decided that it wasn't worth the time and effort to try to fix it so went and got me a new toilet! I've never had a quick flush toilet before and I'm pleasantly surprised. There was still a bit of a mess and I ran out of steam that day (He didn't come til 3 p.m.) so had to wait til yesterday morning to finish cleaning it up. Managed to work on my container garden the last couple of days and got a few things planted.
Then today, I walked over to talk to another neighbor who has containers to see what she was growing when the woman I used to live next to came out of her apartment and started ranting at me. I think she must have been drinking or something. I've never done anything to her, but she made my life hell when I lived next her in that duplex six years ago. So glad I live way across the parking lot! I get along with most everyone here and try to watch out for my neighbors and visit the ones who have trouble or can't walk well. She certainly seems to have issues. Hope everyone has been having a pleasant weekend!

I can t beleive all the that are nearly 5 weeks early, I have my rhodendron blooming, my black Iris both usuall do not open till June, and my wisteria usuall blooms in may after mothers day along with my Lilacs, both are still blooming for 2 weeks now and early! I did have to buy a new riding mower, ouch, lots of expenses this yr.. but I'm hopeful once done I can start saving again. sorry about your toilet, PL.. oh I have the low water, quick flush and it's all you can buy around here now... it was nice you got to chat with the neighbor, but that trouble maker is still there... ugh,, that is one of the downsides of living in apts, or community areas... I have no desire to move where I can "see" neighbors.... mine are close enough if they need something but not in your face.. right now thankful all neighbors on my road are nice and watch out for each other, except the looney next to me in the woods, and we just forget he's there now, he still shoots a gun now and then but his old and feeble at 80 and many health issues .. it is a shame, but everyone stears clear of him! hope you all have a good week.

I hope that new mower lasts a long time so you won't have to worry about it, SAR. I hope that you aren't still having those bad dreams. I never wanted to live in an apartment or community area again, but I was stuck doing it, unfortunately. I'm glad it's mostly friendly people here. I miss living in the country, but not where I lived 15 years ago while married as there is a gun club close by and the gunfire for hours every day really got on my nerves, especially after Ryan died.
Had PT Tuesday and ran into a good friend so we ended up going to lunch and having a nice visit at a Mexican restaurant. Yesterday had a doctor appointment and then ran to get groceries, hoping to get home before the storms began. We had heavy , hail, and winds several times, and a tornado went just south of us. Some areas have trees down and lost power, but not here, thankfully. Not sure how much we got, but my front yard looked like it had a creek running through it and the low area out back looked like a lake. Glad it's all over.
It will be nice the next few days so if it dries up a little I hope to get out and work on my container garden. It's really muddy right now! :(
Hope you all are having a good week.

we were lucky the storms were all south of us yesterday, today it is in the 50s and a gentle growing .... soaking in... I blessed the new tractor and asked that she see me through the rest of my earth time.... my friend and part of the contractor team was in town yesterday and weed whacked the banks that I just can not do anymore.... he'll be back to put my small AC in the master bedroom... he has been going out of state cutting dangerous trees in a state park in WV... Nathan, the owner of the contracting business I am usuing has been scarce cause his little ones are going through graduations and church plays etc.. so he'll be back soon enough plus it gives me more time to breathe and clean. today I could have stayed in bed all day but I'm on here first so if I start painting I cam finish and then start putting paint supplies away... I have a small slab of pork ribs and sweet potatoes cooking in the crock pot. for dinner, got my Mother;s day and birthday cards sents, and will decide which project I will tackle today.... Sat night going with group to the winery for a great band we like. Sunday morning to a mother's day breakfast...... so I should rest up!!!! lol

Sounds like you had an enjoyable weekend, SAR. I couldn't get a good view of the northern lights because of the streetlights here but of course there are zillions of photos online! The boys took me out to eat for Mother's Day and bought me a collapsible wagon to help me get my groceries from the car to the house, especially on days when I am forced to use a cane. It's really neat but just a tad too heavy for me to put into the car so I'll have to leave it on the porch when I go shopping.
Worked outside this morning and got some things done, but not as much as I wanted to, of course. Oh well, there's always tomorrow....
Hope everyone's week is starting out good!

Oh SAR, I'm sorry that last weekend was rough for you emotionally. I'm glad you at least went out and enjoyed yourself one night. I hope the vet appointment for Mae Mae went well and I hope that your power gets restored quickly! Glad you have the genny. And an air quality alert? Wow, that's scary. :(
Most of the worst storms here have gone around me as usual. Thought we'd get a little today but not a drop fell. So thankful for my new hose so I could water my plants. Last Thursday I had lunch with a friend who is back in town for a few days and had a wonderful visit. Today had my second round of PT this week (another session Friday). Lately I've been down thinking a lot about Ryan and about my brother-in-law Mike who is slowly getting worse with his ALS. I wish I could be there to help my sister deal with it. She's a strong person but still has major fatigue from the booster shot 2 years ago. Just breaks my . He's such a good guy. Please keep him in your .
