I think we are all anxious for something good to happen. From everything I've heard, the president is apparently backed by people who want to clean up and fix this country, particularly in the military. I that is true and that their plans are successful. We will know in the next few days if it is true.....or if evil prevails.

Well home from another PT session and they finally agreed with me that the problem isn't completely in my neck but also in my shoulder, which I damaged in 2007 and had a torn rotator cuff. I am getting better slowly, though. Hope GG's daughter is getting better by the day.
My friend Mary Jo has been moved to a different hospital and has undergone one surgery with a second one scheduled. Hoping and praying that fixing the problem will help her get back on the path to getting well!
So far a mild winter here with hardly any snow. The sun is shining today so that's a plus!
Sending up prayers for all who need them today and especially for our country as we face serious challenges now.

I see that I haven't been here for awhile. I am caught up in all the terrible things going on in the U.S. So sad to see criminals constantly getting away with their crimes. I'm still holding out hope that the military is in control and everyone will soon see some progress to restore sanity. It's not much better here in Canada with Trudope, as many like to call him. We've had 2 snow storms now in which I had to get plowed out. Some light snow yesterday that doesn't requiring plowing but I was out and cleaned the steps and truck off before taking Fred for a drive. I treat my like a child, if he wants to go for a drive, I take him for a drive. He loves it. lol I got to see my kids and grandkids around Christmas anyway but now we are in the "red" zone for the virus and aren't allowed to visit family. I wish this nonsense would be over! I was taking Fred for a walk everyday but it has been so cold lately that we haven't been out. Next week looks better so maybe I will bundle up and do some walking. Prayers for your friend, PL. I hope all is well Sar, GG and any others who may drop by.

I have been holding out hope that things will change around too... I keep heating this stuff takes time........

Rick is coming for a load of "stuff" many more loads to go.... but I have only been seeing him ever 3-4 days as he is busy in his new house. which.. is a very ggod thing!
it is sunny today but super cold 11 and feels like 5 and Monday we get hit with more Snow~
Prayers continue for Mary Joe, PL and for all of us and our country!

CSue, it's hard to imagine all that snow since we've had almost none. It's been getting just below freezing at night and mostly in the 40's during the day. Heh, as you know, I try to keep on top of what's going on, like you do. Some days I'm discouraged and other days hopeful.
Wow, SAR, how many months is it going to take for him to get all of his stuff out? That's just crazy.
Hope your pain is subsiding. I slept with ice pack on my shoulder and elbow last night and it seems to have helped. Now I'm going to watch a funny movie to try to take my mind off of all the serious stuff and hopefully take a nap.
to all who stop by!

My daughter is doing great, PL. She was released to go back to work Jan. 5 with no restrictions. She has an appointment with her cardiologist tomorrow.
It's Sunday. It's cold outside. My daughter tells me we are going to get hit with snow and two inches of ice. Um. I hope that's really wrong.
Rick: I've been to SAR's house. She's not exaggerating.
Take care, everyone. I hope you all get relief for your pain.

I have the sunroom empty of his stuff, and the office bedroom is empty of his stuff.. but I still have stuff there cause where my stuff goes was moved for HIS stuff... lol I can almost laugh about it but not quite yet!!!!

Progress, SAR. I see progress. The weather we expected was less severe than expected. The streets seemed OK but the windshield had a thin glaze of freezing when I left for Ashley's. I'm just checking in as I settle down to write the FRC article for this week. March 8 will mark 21 years I have been writing articles for FRC. When I started there I said I would stay for 10 years or until Eloise retired. She retired in late 2018 and was back by February 2019. I'm still kicking around the idea of 'retiring' from FRC so I can put all of my writing time into fiction. Have a great day, everyone.

yes progress even at baby steps....lol
maybe in a way the FRC might be just enough to make your left brain exercise so you can switch back and forth to do the fiction stories.. also I have always seen you doing some biographies about the "little" people .. people in the back ground that do things and never are acknowledged for what they do. Lord knows there are a lot of quiet "hero's" out there.
I'm moving slow today all joints hurt but I am watching curtains pretending Spring is a lot closer then it really is...lol!
everyone have a great day!

Sue, Monday is Feb. 1. Before we know it spring will be here. Oh! That means Tuesday is Groundhog Day! See? We're almost there. Tomorrow our two dogs will be 11 years old. Yep. They are from the same litter and they were born here. This is the only home they have ever known. And Charlie is the first I have ever had that was MINE. He is surely special to me. Thursday our grandson, Aaron, will be 25. He was our first grandchild. He lives two hours north of us. The 4-year-old is helping his mother assemble a bed frame this evening. LOL. They seem to think I need to be on the phone sharing the moment with them. I love my family.

Well we got a whole inch of snow but it didn't stick to the sidewalks or the roads.
SAR, I'm not understanding what the hold up is as far as Rick getting all of his stuff out of there if he is already in possession of his house. Maybe you need to give him a deadline? Unless he's sick or injured there doesn't seem to be any good reason why he hasn't removed it all!
GG, hope your daughter got a good report from the cardiologist!
Not feeling optimistic about current national events. Not a whole lot we can do other than , support people who care about this country and prepare for anything, I guess.
