Hard to believe it's September already. Nice weather is coming finally.
Jenny was taken off of life support Saturday but hasn't passed yet. Such a heartbreaking time for our family.
Chiro visits helping me a lot, even with my sinus/leftover problems from the root canal abscess so at least that's a good thing.
Hope you are all having a great week.

Will keep Kona in my prayers for whatever she is dealing with.
Jenny passed away Tuesday morning. My just aches for my sister and her family and for Jenny's daughter.
Still a little warm and humid here with some , but cooler days will be here by next week, they say. I wish I could say that I will enjoy it but with the draconian lockdowns and face masks continuing since March here, it's hard to feel much happiness.

Hi all. We were supposed to get a lot of too but it seems to have missed us for the most part. I'm glad to hear that Rick has got that under better control! I wanted to let you guys know that my Mom passed away last week. She had taken a turn for the worst around 4th of July. Fortunately we were able to care for her at home with the help of VNA/Hospice. She passed peacefully with all of us by her side. Needless to say, I'm wiped out. My sis and/or I were there 24/7 all summer. I'd do it again though. Our plan was to always keep her home. We thank God that it was possible with all of the problems that Covid has caused. Sometimes we are not given the choice. I thank God that we were. Plantlady, I sent you a message from here last week. It should show at the top of the page that you have one... I wanted to let you know what was going on. I'm glad that the chiro is helping you! We are holding up pretty well. It's comforting to know she is at peace and free from her earthly ailments. Thank you all for your prayers.

Kona, sending prayers for you and your family as you remember your mother and deal with her loss. I replied to your personal message. She and my niece passed within a day of each other so it's hard not to imagine them going to heaven together.
SAR I'll bet those kitties are enjoying your sunroom but not the snips!
We were brought more free food this morning (produce, dairy) from the food bank program. My refrigerator is packed! Will be passing some of it along to others in the complex who weren't home when they came by. Now needing a nap...
Hope the weekend is pleasant for everyone.

Plantlady, I'm so sorry to hear that Jenny passed. I knew she was close on your birthday. I saw the post that she was taken off life support, but didn't see the one where you said she passed. Prayers will continue for her loved ones. Hope you are enjoying the food you received.
Sue, Im sorry about you losing Dan's guard kitty too... I hope the little ones in the house aren't causing too much havoc!
Working on this laptop is like viewing a giant movie screen! I'm always on my phone and straining my eyes...
We are hanging in there. Many people are sending Dad food. He's pretty independent and cooked for my Mom for the past few years but he hasn't been cooking for himself. I'll be bringing him chicken & rice or potatoes on Wednesday. I'll also bring some to my aunt; his sister who is homebound.
Today was hot! I'm looking forward to cooler weather. I just love Autumn and the cool crisp air. Time to get out the sweaters & boots!
Wishing all of you a good week!
